During our Sunday Services we read passages from the Bible and the Bhagavad Gita to show the similarities between the two teachings. They are both scripture-inspired by God.
In answer to a question that was asked of Swami Kriyananda, he writes: One can't cover very much in only ten minutes. I've several times in these shows made the point that, even though only God is real, the cosmic dream has its own dream-like realtiy, and must be treated as real on its own level of relative reality. As Yogananda said, "If in a dream you hit your head against a wall, your dream head will hurt!" swami
My position in life seems to be similar to guru108py. What a battle indeed. Master Yogananda is my guru, but I have been very lonely, in need of a minister of higher consciousness for inspiration. I believe the Divine Mother has sent me here to your channel. Swami, you are just what I have been looking for. What a colossal wealth of divine information. I looked you up on Wikipedia. Holy cats, what a learned man you are. I had no idea. God is working through you to us. Divine gratitude.
@robinhorulz56 Please don't worry if you don't understand all the teachings. We learn the teachings throughout our entire life. The spiritual path is directional. Take one day at a time. God wants us to just keep trying to love Him more and seek Self-realization.
Pray deeply to God. Ask for His help. If you keep making the spiritual effort you will be changed. It takes some time. Be patient with yourself. Stop looking at your problems. It takes time. It's just an old habit. Look to see God in everything and everyone. Keep striving to love God more. He will change you. Never give up trying.
Truly interesting Video! I was always a failure in my life and did not know the reason! My friend gave me this "7 habits of ..." book by Covey. I read it many times and understood that Habits are very important in life. I took it seriously, so i started using "sevenhabits" mobile app by lokesh which was a tool to practice the 7 habits and it has helped me a lot! Now, I am more confident and have more energy and more focus!
I'm almost 16 and trying my hardest to lead my life into the path of righteousness. Is it bad that I don't fully understand the teachings? I watch videos and read the gita as much as I can everyday

After watching this, I can't wait to "wake up in the infinite!"
