This shows why Tanjiro is one of my favorite shounen protagonists ever. He will kill any demon that hurts a human, but he still feels compassion for them and gives them mercy. They need to pay for their sins, but he never forgets they were once human and suffering. There aren't many shounen protags like that. I mean, I love Naruto, but damn that talk no jutsu could get really annoying. A lot of shounen protags are like that, and it's so refreshing to see a mc that acknowledges the enemy's hardships but doesn't hesitate to cut them down.

@@Archonsx It really is! I put off watching it for a long time and I regret that now haha. I've started reading the manga as well, and it's almost finished, and I will be so sad once it's done. This series is a masterpiece, made only better by Ufotable, and I can't wait to see them tackle the rest of the series. Imo Kimetsu earns a place among the top shounen, together with shows like FMA.
It seems the exposure to the source demon blood causes them to lose a part of themselves. As if the memories that made them good people fade away. Only after defeat from Tanjiro, with his compassion, do they regain their humanity right before they slip into death.

This video has all the moments that warmed my heart and made me tear up. Tanjiro’s my favorite character because of his kindness and compassion, even for the worst of demons. I also love how this show portrays each demon as a tragic creature, instead of a soulless monster. Even the simple fact that these demons all have names and a backstory just shows that they were once human too. Unfortunate humans. Great edit!! 💖

I just realized that the first demon had an older brother, and tanjiro was an older brother. And he wanted his older brother to hold his hand, and tanjiro did. And my ppint is you know how Nezuko is told to see all humans a her family? Tanjiro does the same. Whenever a demon regrets their actions and remembers their humanity, he starts acknowledges them as human too. So, like, the parallels in this thing are a lot.
Also, Tanjiro is best boi.

Its very simple editing, but the flow and emotion of each scene is what makes this amv fantastic.
This video single-handedly displayed the whole essence of this anime. It can be easily seen as your 'see a demon, kill a demon' type of show but when you actually think about it and watch a video like this, it brings you to tears. Demon Slayer is easily one of my favourites so I'm more than happy that it gets the amount attention as it does. That's also why I'm thankful to you for showing people who try to underplay this anime that it's actually beautifully emotional and has a very strong presence on its own. This show is probably the only one I can think of right one that makes me sympathise with the 'bad guys' to such an extent. The story is very well done and I must say that you captured it perfectly. Now I just need to force more of my friends to watch this anime so I can show them this beautiful video of yours without actually spoiling anything. This is why mother spider demon was my favourite character. She wasn’t killing the demon slayers for herself. It was for Rui. She was very kind, but none of her spider family really liked her. Her husband would usually beat her until she bled. The only way for her release was to be killed. After that, she had a better life.

If you actually think about this anime to the very core...It's actually deep! It's about a boy who lives in a poor environment but a loving family that helps him overcome every single challenges that he goes through! and to repay his family...He works hard to provide them their needs, but one day he comes back to his family on the floor lifeless and to his sister turning into a demon, instead of giving up...he actually devoted his life into saving his little sister and turning her back to normal! Not only that, he also made a promise into helping others so they won't experience the same agony that he felt! This video made me tear up, once the manga is animated...I would cry for days!

Demon Slayer-Tragic Creatures V2 something. I love this video.
No matter how much horror resides on the surface, no matter their sins, no matter how black their hearts have become, they were all human. The demon blood may flow through their veins but a human heart still beats. Humans that feared the unknown and in their grief, in their fear of loneliness, they turned to the darkness for comfort and acceptance.
Tanjiro saw these very human fears. He saw the human trapped inside and instead of damning them with hatred in his heart, he freed them from their prison with his mercy and looked up on them with compassion and thus they moved on. Tragic creatures yearning to be human once more. Only for last thing to see was a sign of love and peace.

Compassion is the gateway to the soul of others and help us understand ourselves by understanding others. Tanjiro knows that being a demon is a tragedy and thats what gives him strength.

Facts
I always noticed the way tanjiro looks at the demons when he has beheaded them. Other demon slayers will look at the beheaded demons with a triumphant look. But every single time, tanjiro looks at them with eyebrows downward. Almost like he is always sympathizing. He has such a kind heart through all the tragic situations he has encountered. This is the best anime ever. Let me take nezuko as an example. She is the example of someone who has victoriously refused temptation and used it as an advantage. It shows how one can live without selfish desires for their loved ones.
As a manga reader and at the current state of the manga, this hyped me so much for the upcoming movie and season.
This legend not only made me cry, but he actually listed all of the people who supported him in the description. Props to you my good sir.

The way you presented Sabito’s character lines and showed the different characters those words matter to is masterful. How the characters are written to intertwine in their backstories and create excellent worldbuilding is one of the best cases of writing I have ever seen. And you nailed the right moments and lines to fit together with everything you had to work with. Great work! I am definitely subscribing and watching the videos you put out!
The moment I saw this on my recommendations, I stopped everything I was doing and started watching this. Demon Slayer is my favorite anime and I am so stoked for the movie that my sisters and I are going to most likely go see it in theaters!

If only i could be more like Tanjiro. To be able to love someone that hates you, to be able to smile after all youve gone through, and to be able to forgive no matter what the person committed or do.
The reason why Tanjiro is able to be so selfish about saving his sister is because of his selflessness.

Nezuko never hurt an innocent, and kept her feet against the temptation of even Marechi blood
In fact Tanjiro would commit seppuku if Nezuko kills a human
So he isnt selfish, the demons he killed, all were consumed by their bloodlust and did hurt innocents, they had to be killed, unlike Nezuko
demon slayer/ kny is the first anime/manga that has brought raw tears to my eyes other than banana fish. I have never cried so much for a anime before. it's such a devastating and life changing plot yet a genius one. and imma say something that is very opinionated but in my opinion, tanjiro is one of the best protagonists ever. not because of his kindness but his ability to look past one's past actions once they repent for them instead of hating them. hell, he even shows compassion to the ones who have hurted him and the people he knows. honestly, tanjiro is definitely a main character I'll never forget or never stop loving. he's just a genius character and amazing boy :]

This went to my “Favorites” playlist incredibly fast! It’s such a good demonstration of the strength it takes to be a demon slayer AND the compassion that was shown to the demons and their individual pasts. Even the “antagonists” are shown to have humanity.

Koyoharu Gotouge's way of making a story is so great. It paints all the demons as tragic ex-people instead of ruthless pain-loving demons. I cried for everyone who died in this story. Heck, even Muzan's story made me sob. This manga just hits you in the feels man.
And YOU, Zurik 23M, you edited and made this and it's just so heartbreaking and saddening and I love it
