I don't know if you've ever watched "Baccano!" but Zenitsu reminds me of Jacuzzi Splot in the best way. The way he goes back and forth emotion-wise in the video, from scared to badass to shocked to confident to angry and so on…it's like a rollercoaster of feelings. No wonder Inosuke clocked him with a pillow by the end of it all!
Using a song that's the complete opposite of the character in focus…I dig that idea, and the upbeat tone makes for a neat comedic twist to this AMV. It also makes the "Party By Myself" video stand out that much more from it, where the confident-carefree vibe is flipped on its head. Sometimes the flashy edits and bright color tones of the words displayed (not counting subtitles) are a bit distracting, but that's a minor nitpick.
Now I'm curious what a mini-AMV for Tanjiro would be like, and what song would be chosen…ah well, until/if then, thank you for making this video. It was time well spent with a result well earned!
