Thanks for the video. My plastic arm that helps slow down the glove compartment was a little different. I had to use some needle nose pliers to help slide out the arm. As for that metal screw, I was tempted to just cut out a small notch in order to fit in a screwdriver. Not a good design and they probably want you going to the dealership to install.
just drill a hole where there should be a notch, makes it easy every time . plastic clips that hold the cover on are rediculously brittle and will break off.
Seems an automotive engineer would be smart enough to leave an access notch to get to the screw easier but I guess too much education gets in the way of common sense.
Thanks for sharing I’m going to change my own and saves me a lot of money. Auto dealer told me 70 bucks for just the piece.
Thanks for the video, saved me some money!!! I recommend getting a short driver to make it easier to access the screw.
Thanks for the video. I just changed mine. What a pain!😂
Glad it helped!

I took a Dremel and the circular sanding band and bored the plastic down in front of the t20 screw. next time I won't have to deal with that fiasco.

Why didn’t he show how you tork screw comes out and goes in?
Needed a 3rd hand and didn’t have one. One of the down sides to making videos one handed haha
Except for it being made in China, all else is good.
