Just had a test drive of Okavango today and it's soo great. It's an amazing car when it comes to power, tech and comfort. Ill surely buy this one. I'm waiting Cacos review of Maxus D60.

Came to this video because this has been spied tested on our roads in Malaysia. I understand it's only coming to our shores (in CKD form) end of 2022. The re engineering to rhd takes a long time . Seeing that the starting price for the coolray is identical to the price of the x50 executive, this could mean a price tag of RM 103,800-113,800 for the executive and premium versions for the proton x90.

@@cammac66 im not into brands. Madalas nasa owner na rin yan and sa pag gamit mo ng sasakyan. Lahat naman ng sasakyan masisira at masisira depende na lng kng kelan and pano mo alagaan. Nagkataon lng na madaming naka toyota gawa ng stigma ng mga tatay at lolo natin. Yes maraming parts ang toyota because of the supply and demand which is same thing with other brands. Wait mo dumami naka chinese cars and for sure dadagsa din ang parts nya. Look at hyundai and kia today. Dati hirap sa parts kc new players sila dito. Ngaun marami na ding mabibilhan ng parts

I know they are reliable because the engine itself has been stress tested many many times and it is made by Volvo and Lynk&Co. Two companies that have their fair share of testing. But I just hope they make enough sales to make them stay in the Philippines nang matanggal na yung kaclose-minded ng filipino market. Pag pinoy kasi Japan=reliable China=unreliable. Di man lang alam na may mga palpak din yung Japan na kotse. Its all about the cars lalo na ngayon halos lahat ng Japanese cars outsourced na sa ibang bansa.

The only "Japanese" car brand in this country is Mazda. Most if not all of their cars come from Japan hence why they're expensive.

No, just because an American company has shares in a Japanrse company doesn't mean they are "American".
And FYI, Mazda has already bought back most of it's shares from Ford not too long ago.
The only remnants or "proof" of their connection was the BT-50 but that's already dead since they have a new one with Isuzu.
I am very excited to have this one...I hope my husband will chose this over coolray...
there will be an upcoming model of Geely that is already launched in China. The Geely XingYue L or other name KX 11. I have seen it in Shanghai Auto show and once released in the Philippines will be a big blast that will blow every SUV owners. Check it out, it should be a nice info for viewers and/or find out if when will be coming out.

That optional accessory custom-fit inflatable bed makes you wonder why they didnt offer the auto sunroof in their top of the line Okavango... just imagine lying in that bed camping or beside a beach with the sunroof open watching the sky stargazing!!! Coolray & Azkarra have it but not the Okavango which should have been more appropriate as it is a 7seater more people to enjoy that feature...

was planning to buy xpander cross or territory titanium. then i saw this review and got me interested to this car, and eventually bought one. best concise auto review out there.

the car is great. fuel efficiency is suprisingly ok for a 7 seater. and nvh is excellent. and the 3rd row space is very confortable even for long drives. i would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 7 seater car. so far no problem with it. and based on fb group, it seems that it is a reliable car, and a reliable manufacturer.

I have more than 5 years of Chinese trucks & Heavy equipments. All parts are available in casa and even local spare parts dealers.

for those who don't know the ownership of geely is volvo, proton, lotus, daimler ag manufacturer of mercedez benz, lynk & co, polestar, geometry, zeekr, LEVC aka (london electric vehicle company), and many more, so on those who say that it's just a chinese brand and the geely china brand is useless, think again before you dislike and dislike geely's products
I can say na ang Okovango ang modern Mu-X sa pinas. The cheaper option SUV na ginagawa ng maayos yung purpose niya. Hindi man siya loaded ng features or with the most power, pero kayang makipagsabayan padin sa iba. Kagaya ng previous generation MU-X.

Tough to beat the Innova. But nice to see alternatives such as this (Okavango), the Maxus G50, and the GAC GN6 :)

Nice one Caco! Geely never disappoints, so far :-) Hopefully their vehicles are durable and of good quality. But time will tell.

@@Lyfedge almost 1 yr oka urban plus never had an issue
spare parts take 6+ months to arrive. so far that's the only downside to owning an Oka. Aside from the high fuel consumption which was already stated in this video.

Yes i think so because Sojitz ang nagmamanage sa Geely Philippines which historically, the same company that managed Mitsubishi before in PH kahit noong martial law.
