I drove this at MIAS, i agree with Caco with everything. Regarding the Apple Carplay, the agent I talked to said that it can be installed by the service team. Going back, the driving dynamics of the car is very good, NVH, is great. the throttle response is very responsive. at first, driving this is overwhelming, but you get used to it right away.
Ito at Mazda CX9 ung pde kong pagpilian kung may pera lng din ako. The design and color itself of this SUV are gorgeous. Tsaka pag sinabi ni Caco na extremely comfortable, he meant it.

GAC should throw in some more peace-of-mind deals to assure car owners that they can vouch for the reliability of the brand. Pricing is quite ambitious, people who have that kind of money wouldn't mind topping up 190k for a CX-9.
Exterior and interior looks great. Ride comfort looks comfy as well seeing Caco not bouncing around during the drive. Engine performance by the looks of it looks sluggish. Still not sold on chinese cars upping their spec sheet with lots of features. Those features are cool and all but in the future will be a headache. The design flaw I'm seeing is the 14 inch screen controls everything. Just imagine it malfunctioning and you won't even have an AC. Imagine as well how much it will cost to replace. I think it's primarily the reason mainstream car brands balance their features because they know it is prone to breakage in the future and in turn will cost more maintenance to the owner. Because I'm seeing a lot of comments japanese cars are getting way behind chinese cars in features. True car owners think about future maintenance not just fancy features and spec sheets. Still, the more competition the better so other brands will step up their game too
I don’t think the target market of these cars really care that much on the features-problem. They probably can change cars every 3-5years. And maybe just maybe they might have another cars more capable or more premium than the GAC. The future buyer might have LCs, or Nissan patrols. Kung ako tatanungin, mas pipiliin ko na toh kesa sa Nissan patrol royale. Pero mas pipiliin ko padin LC300 kung meron na stock at MSRP 😊
Buyers of this car with this price isn't that concerned about a screen breaking. They probably have more than 1 car and the price to fix it will be centavos. If you feel that you can't pay for the maintenance then this car is definitely not for you. Just stick to old style knobs and levers because that's the maintenance that you can afford.
