- This video demonstrates the cleaning out of a dishwasher's filter and pump assembly. The Samsung DW80K5050US seems to get easily clogged which limits its efficiency and leaves the dishes covered in a sandy mess.

You really need to rinse off your dishes quick before putting them in, I pre rinse and mine looks nothing like that after 1+ year of use (I just cleaned mine because I figured it was good for it)
Mine started to not drain water, bought it a year and a half ago, won't auto open also.
Yeah, LG and Samsung have made some really terrible dishwashers. Every time I go to my local scratch and dent I find literally 20 of them that people have returned because of either unsatisfactory performance or poor quality.
Same dish washer, won't drain :( error code OC. I've blown threw, and vacuumed all the tubes still nothing. Any suggestions?
Me TOO! Did find a fix to this? Stupid dishwasher has been in for 4 months and I just got th OC last night. Did everything you said also.
@@carolina_girl8586 tried everything, nothing worked. I ended up giving it away and buying a basic bosch. No issues since.
@Masaki K luckily we still had our $500 Kenmore in the garage and we put it in works perfect no issues just does not match our new kitchen that I waited 10 years for. Apparently you don't het what you pay for.. $900 Samsung requiring a $300 part after 4 months of use?? Ridiculous!

Thanks for the video but you didn’t show how you took the water pump impeller section off & on. For anyone doing that, the impeller screw might be reverse thread which it was on my piece of crap dishwasher.
Mine wont even power up.

What happens if you puncture a hole in the mesh, can it be fixed?
