Well that brought back some memories- some that I had forgotten until now. I only had two bad memories there(we stayed at the park next to yours when the managers had left and nothing had been cleaned for weeks and everything was yellow from the sulphur in the water. The other was humiliating myself at the musical fence one rainy day.
Guys, you've missed another gem in Winton. Oondooroo Sheep Cattle Station. It's a magical place and you learn heaps out there. It's only about 25 ks east of Winton. A great history place.

We also stayed at the Long Water hole. A beautiful place beside the natural billabong with lots of birdlife.
Interesting place. Love those opals. Jasper, you're the star, you pose whichever way you want buddy. Haha. What a character. 😊
Winton has so much to see, we will definitely go back there.

Ouch! Loved our time in Longreach too and it was actually our first stay this time around - we also headed out to Opalton… now that’s a wild place 🙌
