The comic book version, that this covers amazingly well, is actually worse because that cotton candy that he was handing out to all those boy scouts was laced with poison, killing all of them. It's actually the first scene that Batman and Robin come to seeing 23 dead boy scouts laying on the ground but I can see why they wouldn't want to put that in a cartoon.

Joker still lost because Batman still wins even when Joker dies Batman still stays a hero. Like in the Injustice universe Superman only turned evil when he started taking control and killing Green Arrow and the Joker won when he turned Batman and Superman against each other.
I tough the animators we're gonna' also include the original scripted parts like the childrens poisoned and the Joker preparing the bomb on the rollercoaster.

Batman knew that only one of them was walking away.... So he had to do what he had to do.... When Joker repeatedly stabbed him, Batman snapped his neck and paralyzed him from the neck down.... Damaging the nerves and spine.... When Joker turned his head, the nerves died instantly.... Causing Joker to basically commit suicide by destroying his nervous system.... Stopping his heart and killing the nerves in his brain....
I love how everyone’s talking about jokers “Are you out of your mind!?” Line but nobody is talking about the end where that poor dude gets fuck!ng ripped to shreds
By far the most accurate comic Joker we've ever seen. Michael Emerson here is better suited for this version of Joker than Mark Hamill, same goes for Peter Weller as Batman over Kevin Conroy.

This universe is the most sad and fucked up You can tell batman isn’t having it anymore, he’s done with everything and everyone Seeing how everyone he cared about disappeared out of his life because of this new fucked up world that doesn’t acknowledge that they need heroes, every hero disappeared out of existence, Diana went to the amazons, Hal went to become a space vigilante, green arrow lost an arm because he didn’t cope with the whole “no heroes” thing, and judging how they don’t mention flash, he must have been killed or died due to unknown circumstances, nightwing hasn’t talked to Bruce since the Jason Todd incident, etc Batman is right about not giving a flying fuck about this world or being to “harsh” with criminals

Batman didn’t even hesitate to throw batarangs in his eye
3:20 he still got that batarang in his eye while saying that
Man, it's scary on how it's clear thay Joker is having the time of his life when he realizes that Batman is willing to break his moral code. It's pretty much like "No matter the outcome, i won!"
55 years old you’d think Bruce would’ve made a bat suit that was bulletproof
favorite batman animated film
ZIONREID Thanks favorite Batman film ever
i saw this as a little kid at night and it traumatized me bad
Its good to be reminded sometimes that batarangs are infact lethal weapons and Batman just uses them with such skill to only disarm people that you forget what kind of damage they can really do 😂
i love how their entire fight was just hands no words nearly even when out of ammo joker was not surprised by bats luck just snickers and runs knowing he wont be far behind
Michael Emerson here is better suited for this version of Joker than Mark Hamill, same goes for Peter Weller as Batman over Kevin Conroy.
they were absolutely perfect, i didnt think there could be a different combo of joker batman that i would love more.
Ooooooo, batman's not gonna be happy with you, robin.
"Boss... Something's comin'. It's big. It's--"
"Him...."
"He's there. Hold tight."
Just noticed an animation error: When Carrie pulls her slingshot, her right glove is on, compared to nearly every other scene where she’s missing it.
Joker takes a batarang to the eye and barely flinches. Guy's pain tolerance is incredible. I suppose it has to be if you're fighting Batman for years.
That's because he's crazy as hell.
When I was a kid I wanted to be Robin and I never knew there was a girl Robin. I always wanted to be a superhero like Batman. I don't know if there's something touching when Bruce says good soldier good soldier.
I think he sees How brave she is=)

there’s a hero in all of us

This universe is the most sad and fucked up
You can tell batman isn’t having it anymore, he’s done with everything and everyone
Seeing how everyone he cared about disappeared out of his life because of this new fucked up world that doesn’t acknowledge that they need heroes, every hero disappeared out of existence, Diana went to the amazons, Hal went to become a space vigilante, green arrow lost an arm because he didn’t cope with the whole “no heroes” thing, and judging how they don’t mention flash, he must have been killed or died due to unknown circumstances, nightwing hasn’t talked to Bruce since the Jason Todd incident, etc
Batman is right about not giving a flying fuck about this world or being to “harsh” with criminals
I love how dark this scene is!
