Former Protestant recently found myself falling in love with the liturgy and lineage of Catholic and Orthodox church. I found my self starved after years of Bible study(!) starved for MORE. I lived in Mexico decades ago and 20 years in Santa Fe, NM. I was surrounded by people who were devoted to the Virgen of Guadalupe.
I am now learning about Mary and the Saints. It is nourishing my heart and soul. I thank God for His guidance and teaching me these mysteries.
I am not familiar with this apparition until we went there by the invitation by my priest last year. The rest of Catholic around the world should be made aware of our lady of Guadalupe, it’s a living work of art by God!
Some of us are. Guadeloupe is the patroness of the Americas and the Philippines.
God loves images. He says so many times.
When i was in a coma dying, my cradle Catholic mother not knowing how to pray surrendered me to our lady. Long story short im alive when 5 doctors said I wouldn't live. Ave Maria gratia plena❤️

Same. I was dying when I was born and my mother pleaded for my life, she promised to return to see her if/after I was better.
I started to breathe by myself the day the doctors were going to pull the plug.
Mom went down to Mexico when I was 3 months old. I asked my mom when I was 5 or 6 why I was in a fish tank (incubator) but my mom didn’t understand me. Much much later I told my mom I remembered when I went to see her, I was in a green blanket and she wore a red outfit with red heels. I remember the click in my memory to this day. My mom was startled because she never told me I was sick until I was a pre teen, only then did she piece everything together.
Great video! As a Mexican American, the story of Guadalupe really touched my heart.
A parish priest who came to California after serving Mexico City once gave the most beautiful story of what Our Lady of Guadalupe means to us. His homily explained to me the love for our Lady of Guadalupe, I can smile and say that I am a product of her promise, of a new beginning, and of a new people half Spanish and half native. As she appeared not as a full Spaniard or a full Native Indigenous of the Americas 🌻♥️
The homily from Fr. Pat said something like…She appeared 11 years after the Spanish arrival to the New World, the Aztec People where struggling with the depression of the forceful change brought upon them by the Spanish, they used to sacrifice humans for their gods and believe that the Sun and Moon would rise based upon their sacrifice. When this stopped they were people in despair. Until our Lady came with her Motherhood and hope of a new life. This is why I’m proud to be a Catholic a product of La Guadalupana 📿🙏🏼
Wonderful show!! I am Mexican who lived in Mexico city for years, but never knew the apparitions of our Lady of Guadalupe. But now I can tell you that she's the reason of my conversion.
She is the reason I am Catholic. She kept coming to me in dreams and I have had beautiful experiences with her. I know she is a protector and the blessed mother. She is powerful and always brings me to tears. Recently in a dream she showed me how she protects me always and to never doubt her protection. She reminded me of my true path as well in that dream to keep my faith strong.
Me too I was once in a very down moment of my life...hopeless at the age of 22..one night i dreamed I thst i was walking in an endless road and gone astray...the lady appeared in front of me showing the way where i should go...and i found my way home...until a couple of year passed by..my sister in law arrived from Manola and she hanged the image in my room..then i realized that the lady in that picture eas the one in my dream...i read the name..Our Lady Of Guadalupe...Tears running in my eyes.God is good for He gave us Mama Mary.

Warm greetings from Australia 🦘 In late 2021, I decided that I was NEVER going to return to the Catholic Church due to negative personal experiences and all the craziness of the Church. In August 2023, I went to Peru and attended a retreat for 10 days where I did plant medicine - Ayahuasca. The experience was profound. The funny thing was that there was a kitchen attendant, a beautiful Peruvian middle aged woman, who would wear a large apron with the picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe! Ha, I thought. I am being STALKED by the Virgin Mary! To cut a long story short, I returned to Australia and the Virgin Mary whispered to me that "you can't love what you don't know". I actually had to educate myself on Catholicism; I had very poor catechism. And, yes I have returned to the Catholic faith. I will never leave. I also had to do more research on Our Lady of Guadalupe as I really knew nothing, to be honest.
Beautiful❤️🙏🏾Our Mother is amazing. God is Great and Humble to give her to us to love and taught by.

Some time ago, I was reading about a optometrist famous in China I believe, he was an atheist, but was interested in studying the Tilma. He was allowed, while studying it, he was looking into her eyes! All of a sudden he passed out! When he woke up, the other doctors ask what had happened, he said while looking into her eyes, all of a sudden she raised her eyes up wards and looked into his eyes! I’m sure he wasn’t expecting that, not sure if he converted, but I would say Yes! Mother always calls her children 🙏🏻

Hey Keith hope you are doing good. I have a story of an apparition of Virgen de Guadalupe. This happened to my Aunt, her name is also Guadalupe, in 1995. She was walking down the cemetary in a small town in Jalisco. She looed down to a rock, about an inch big, she said there was a sun ray coming out of the rock. She grabbed the rock and opened the rock to reveal the image of Virgen de Guadalupe. Ive been trying to show you the image for quite some time but for some reason I havent been able to. I have the image as my icon. Whats your email address so that I can forward you a copy.

This is amazing! There is also Our lady of Las Lajas in Columbia, a miraculous image of Mary that appeared on rock. The image is not painted, but it goes down several feet into the rock!

Great interview Keith, love Our Lady of Guadalupe and the story, notice how Rev 12 talks about how the woman is clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and how she is pregnant. This is the exact situation of the image.
The catholic Mary was assumed to heaven and sits on a throne next to God. The woman or Rev 12 is being chased by the devil and has to run and hide in the wilderness. You need to get your lies straight. (;-D

I had the same experience as Father Giovanni the last time I visited the Basilica. Out lady showed herself to me as a living woman, the most loving and beautiful creature I've ever seen. I could not stop crying, her energy was so overwhelming!
Something that gets lost about the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is, as far as I am aware, this is the only apparition of Our Lady that is NOT an artist rendition. Fatima, Lourdes, etc... the images, which are certainly beautiful, are artist renditions of what was described to them by the visionaries of those apparitions. Our Lady of Guadalupe is in effect, a self portrait. There is no "artist license," it is her as she wants to be seen.

We have a similar ritual at velakanni, a pilgrim centre in South India where we walk on our knees for 1 km to the church...
I went with my mom and siblings to the Cathedral of Guadalupe back on 11/2019. It's such a beautiful and amazing place. God bless you Keith for everything you are doing 🙏

I love our lady of Guadalupe ❤️🔥 I was born Catholic in Mexico and she is so revered! Even as a teenager when I stopped being Catholic, I always seeked her for a source of comfort. The apartments I grew up in had a beautiful mural of her, so she always there for me 💖 even during my cringey witchcraft phase she never left me, I did worship her which I regret and have repented. but she never left me. She watched over me as I strayed away from God. During an abusive relationship, despite being an atheist I would pray to her. And now as an adult and I've returned to the Catholic faith I can thank her for always keeping me close to the true god and the way of life. If it weren't for her, I don't think I would've realized that God is what I needed. I had a tumultuous life and did terrible things to fill the void, but thanks to her guidance I've realized all I need was God ❤

In todays times of abortion(killing) of the innocent, helpless , little ones and are ripped apart in the womb is just as horrible as those human sacrifices during the Aztec times, and for this cowardly powerful country, the United States , establishing the laws against the most vulnerable is so heartbreaking to say the least, I pray for the unborn and newborn infants and the conversion of my country, the United States, most holy Virgin Mother pray for us.
