No one talks about the torment that comes along with unforgiveness. It follows you. Keeps you up at night. It justifies your wrong behavior. Now I know why they say forgiveness is not for the other person but for you

I cannot forgive because my PTSD that gives me flashbacks and reminders comes from everything around me and from God's word and the prophets he sent to me. . Gods ways make me feel so bitter, and hatred etc because they are soooo hard, depressing, horrifying, etc. I cannot heal and its been over a decade.

@@brokengirl8619 Hey! Just want to share my story with you! I can relate! Experiencing spiritual abuse will cause one to fear God's word or even feel anger when the Word is preached. Those are just effects from the trauma. With PTSD, don't fight. Often others tell us to fight but Gof literally just tells us to stand and He will fight for us. The enemy wants you away from the word so Along with the effects he will keep bringing them to the forefront of your mind to block your growth. Pray to God and be honest with Him about where you are. He already knows. But let Him hear from you. Read Romans 8 18, Romans 8 28. Also read scriptures on identity. You're not a broken girl, you're His daughter and He calls you loved, chosen, redeemed, whole

I watched this although I am not a believer in religious sense. I find it meaningful because I think at the core of spirituality, no matter what worldly religions are on the surface, we are talking about the same thing for the transcendence nature of human consciousness. We all need to learn to be humble to learn, to know ourselves, to love and eventually make the world slightly less broken, no matter what religion we say we are in. Thank you for the effort:)

I would like a video on "how to forgive a narcissist". Because they do not appolagies and do not see ANYthing wrong in their own actions. Or I suppose a video on how to forgive anyone who never apologies or recognize the harm they made you.
I guess that's when I have the biggest struggle to forgive.

@darcyd2680 i unfortunately, completely understand that struggle and i would love a video on this myself because it's definitely a process and very tough at that, but i know it'll be so worth it on the other side. you're not alone in this! ❤️‍🩹

@b0baaddict Thanks! I actually do so much better on this :) one friend of my suggested me to stay out of contact with that person and not even talk to him even if he tries, bc she could see my emotions were not healed, that would only hurt me more. Because even the apology of narcissists person, if it takes place, would look lame, it would be more about him anyways...
I thank God I'm so much over that situation now 😊 I don't even feel like I need his apologies or recognition of his actions.
I mean, maybe deep down, I feel like, "Oh, that wasn't nice," but that's it, not a high disturbance anymore.
I thank God, I had strength to follow that suggestion of a friend, in my case it had helped me a lot.

Forgiveness regarding deep rooted hurts is difficult for me because of hope deferred and recognizing the damage it’s caused and realizing how much harder I need to work now to try and undo the damage they caused plus what that damage took from me including the maladaptive coping mechanisms that need to be unconditioned without really knowing how

I prayed and made the decision to forgive some people in my life that caused me great pain. Do I need to let these people know that I’ve chosen to forgive them, or how exactly does this process look?

Can I forgive the person but choose not to have them in my life? Because I am triggered when I even see their name on an email or text message? If I am triggered into depression, sadness, and pains in my chest, does this mean I am living in unforgiveness? I am so distraught over the verses given. I feel unloved if I can not forgive like God? How can a human forgive like God? It is such a struggle!

When God said that He will not forgive, and if we don’t, can we have a journey with this. This scripture sounds like I will not be forgiven if I don’t forgive, even though I have been working on this and working as an overcomer. I thought that we were forgiven by Jesus dying on the cross. This scripture has terrified me ever since I became a Christian 35 years. Can you emphasize more regarding this scripture.

We are forgiven by Jesus on the cross. I'm thinking we forgive because we already are forgiven, not to be forgiven. If we have to do something for God's forgiveness then that sounds like you are stuck in the old covenant. You already are forgiven so you forgive at least that's what I think based on what I've seen in scripture. 1 John 2:12 says our sins have been forgiven us and that sentence is in the perfect tense which is used to refer to completed actions.

You need to depend on Him to enable you to forgive. I’ve been there and currently going thru it now where someone in the church has hurt me and I’ve become bitter and can’t seem to let it go. I went thru three years of hell not being able to forgive a coworker that offended me badly( this was before I was saved and I wanted to forgive but couldn’t) After I came to know the gospel and was saved, it’s like He healed that pain in my heart and I was able to forgive and be pleasant with the person will no Ill effects towards them. (Miraculous!) I know without a doubt I want to forgive currently and obey what He wants me to do, but my past and issues don’t let me too easily. I’m depending on Him alone.

I get the message, but the compassion is missing from it. Some of us have been hurt in the worst ways. The facing of it is horrendous. How do you let it go when it was so bad that tit sticks
to you? How do you let deep betrayal and perversion go? I most definitely want to shed every sin that is on my bloodlines. I love your work but maybe this section could be broken down into several sections for those that have seen horrendous trauma. I feel that this section needs Christ compassion and a little more acknowledgement for the pain before it can be let go. Some of the traumas are
directly associated with ignoring or non acknowledgement of trauma being done by persons who knew they were doing it. I love the work that the Lord is doing through you and look forward to signing up to your classes. I work in The healing arts and know that sometimes the ghost in the ghost story just wants to be heard before it can pass on to the next place. Shalom and bless you!
