Very nice job. Love your content and how it’s broken up. The progresión in your video is motivating because many of us working on projects sometimes stall out in the process, but your vids help motivate to get it done.
YESSIRRR! im building my 72v 5000w mx650 rn, and you were one of the inspirations for my build. I love your painting video and how you explain things. Enjoy the content, keep them coming! sidenote: wasnt that an extended gastank? 😭😭😭😭 nooooo lol, i think the stock one would've fit, and those sell for a bit of money since these bikes are popular again
I just posted a trail riding video on this. About 1 HR and 45 Min from 83V down to 74V. Still fully rideable after 15 miles of climbing, just not as powerful. Haven’t tested range on roads/flat ground yet though. Assuming 30-40 miles cruising
that's really cool. Id love to make one of those to do city riding and stuff, a real bike wont fly anywhere near the city, that thing you can go to the skate park, the city trails, anywhere you want to.
Congrats on getting it up and running! Really interested in your performance from the battery (range, speed, time to fully charge, etc). Thanks for the content.
Aye yo you don’t have a clutch lever anymore but a master cylinder handle bar brake lever that way you can throw both feet up while doing wheelies or dance on the seat while wheeling standing up I’d love to have one of these out in Philly we take over the streets and the police can’t stop us but they get us refilling or trying to start are bikes hot I’d love this
Love it! Seeing you on razors so often, this bike looks too big lol Still saving up for a big boy battery... Then I ordered the EBOX2 lol You should probably make friends with whoever owns that FC rX7 also
@@PatOutdoors Wish I never sold my FC... Oh Turbz e30 you say? I have a z3 and 128i, did we just become best friends?! My loud car is my family sedan Acura TLS tho lol
@@PatOutdoors Yea I change the sprocket size on my razor build to get more bottom in torque. Did not take away much from top speed I like the bottom end punch better than top end .I’m think about a qs138 I am 125 frame .
I have the same bike frame Amet and I want to put a QS 180 motor in there. Do you think it would fit or stick out? I’m moving the rear brakes to the front handlebar.
Hey Pat. Regarding the small red wire on the controller harness, does that go on the controller post with the red background next to where the battery connects? Thanks.
Did you have to have the motor direction reversed from E&C or is that how it comes from them? I’ve seen others use these QS motors and they didn’t spin the correct direction?
@@PatOutdoors oh alright, I was wondering about being able to switch the rotation direction say if you had the chain on the opposite side of the bike and needed the motor to spin clockwise instead of counter clockwise like how you have it mounted now.
@@PNWelectro what dirt bike do you have? Most gas dirt bikes have the chain/sprockets on the left side of the bike. My Talaria and Razors and on the right side though
@@PatOutdoors it is actually for a shifter cart that I’m converting to electric, I’m currently using the EC4P which you can change direction via the tru Moto app but the new sprocket is for a 428 chain and that cant be run on the EC4P so looking to upgrade to QS but wanna make sure I can mount it without having to switch everything around.
Hi, i have a yz 250 2014, its motor just blew recetly and im thinking about converting it to electric. I ride hard motor cross and super cross. How does the power compare to the original 2 stroke motor?
For hard motocross, I would go with a better battery for higher power output. Molicel battery by Electro & Co with this kit can produce 25kw (35ish hp) with no shifting. The throttle curve is very different though, lots of torque down low and tops out quickly 62mph (obv depends on gearing.) Throttle feel can be very odd coming from a 2-stroke though, very sensitive if you’ve never had a e-bike
You may be thinking of the wrong qs138 kit. My other one is gonna be the one with the fardriver kit that may need to be programmed. This kit is the pretuned one by electro & co
I keep forgetting how boring it is to watch an electric vehicle run No offense it’s a bad ass build that I’m definitely going to be doing just on a different frame But I’m a purist I like combustion the sound of burning fuel and air the revs of a nasty exhaust no I bet there fun to ride especially this build but on video it’s weird
Totally understand what you mean.. that’s why I’m leaving my KLX alone as gas powered. I enjoy revving out an engine more and banging through gears, just get more satisfaction out of it. But this bike is set up to be something my wife can ride easily without having to clutch or shift
@@PatOutdoors that’s also totally understandable as fun as gears and rpm’s are ease of use gets everyone in the sport Which is why I would like to build on so my mom can ride with me and my brothers
Vs a 2-stroke engine, you’re right. But that’s not the point of this bike. It’s to have a predictable power band and throttle curve for my wife to ride that requires no clutch or shifting. It’s far fasting that my 4-stroke Kawasaki though..

The TTR is going to be smoking fast! Electrify is the way to go!❤
Yes yes yes! It's done congrats Pat you rock! YZ is looking very sweet and runs with good power! It's alive ❤
Man you yesss you man you have given me hope of riding my bike without being hassled by the police thank you very much ❤
I've been watching all your razor videos from a while back. Stumbled on this video from 16hrs ago holy smokes from level 1 for level 20 🤣

Nice Pat looks like it’s going to be a fun ride . Wonder what the ride time in the woods your going to have.

How much did the whole set up cost u think including the amorge battery

It connects to the same post the positive cable of the battery goes
Gotcha. Also ordered the amorge battery and I'm awaiting delivery.
ya Amorge charges 10$ for a charger you just have to ask for one
I didn’t want a standard 3 amp charger though. I’m likely gonna buy a charger that’s rated for at least 10-12 amps
Excellent build man. How is that battery so far? Im thinking about getting an amorege too.
Good, though I’ve only ridden in for less than 15 minutes so far! Too early to tell
Let me know how it is with the range. Nice build btw

Did you have to have the motor direction reversed from E&C or is that how it comes from them? I’ve seen others use these QS motors and they didn’t spin the correct direction?
The QS motors from E&C (v3) come with a gear reduction assembly built in, which rotates it the correct direction.

Just a standard crimping tool for 0-10 gauge, like this: amzn.to/3J5Eqq6
Loop loop the kelly did have kick
Have u tried a qs138 90h
