It's crazy (over several patches) how Keshiks went from slightly weaker in HP but more expensive Pallies with gold generation to their current excellent niche of being a great cost effective cav option!

Well in practise they kinda are in most games :P They are a weaker, cheaper paladin that has to be produced from a castle. To motivate the production in a castle you kinda need to be better than the equivalent to ever catch up in numbers. The 27 vs 20 wont happen in many real game situations. Its more likely that the paladin player is the one with 27 units but lacking some other unit, tech or building
@@esjb1191 they are produced faster, and combined with steppe Lancers are quite brutal, even heavy camels to counter those paladins. So, in my opinion it is a solid unit against ranged units, excellent at tanking and raiding eco. And very cheap (60f 40g is pretty nice, and its elite upgrade is cheap too).
Cheataspas now OP cavalry, but keshiks still best meat shield cavalry in rage forest
