***** Bud the turbo does not ever spin backwards from some back pressure. Think about how much energy is required to spin it up, a bit of blowback wont do a lot until you reach high boost pressures, even then at most its some load on the bearings, and you could debate the reponse lost from the slower turbine speed is equal to the response lost by the blow off valve venting a large portion of air from the charge system, which will need to be pressurised before the engine will see any boost. Turbos with anti-surge rings negate a lot of that as it blows out through the ring instead.

U do remember a GTR runs twin turbos right Two Turbo Actuators.. impossible for only 2.5psi to open a Actuator at back of turbo The GTR range made 280-285bhp on 0.7 Bar an 315-335bhp with the actuator's removed Nissan an Nismo both told buyers in Japan about the actuator blockage for the power.. but no where did any GTR ever run 5psi lol.. infact no car from Japan in General ran as low as 5psi Now im not here to Bully you but i have owned two Completely dead standard GTR's in the Past, an Currently own a R33 GTR with only a HKS jasma Exhaust an it still has the Actuator block in place only boosts to 0.68 bar,
my dad brought a r34 gtr from Melbourne and he knew it was worked but didnt know he much. anyways he jumped in it and took off. this thing was a absolute beast. it was smashing high end road bikes at the time. it was spinning 1st, 2st, 3rd, 4th gear. by the time he got home the spark plugs where fired out. he couldnt start it the next morning, so he ended selling it cause he knew he would die in it he sold it for 70k a few years back.
I like how some people say that the video is sped up . Well did you take into consideration that the car is 1000hp running semi slicks 315 rubber a standard r35 is around 500hp and also im fucking holding onto whatever I can with one hand and trying to record with the other. Enough said.
