Fun fact: When you look in a mirror in dim lighting for a prolonged period of time, your mind will begin to create images, such as the room becoming distorted, or a figure standing there. It's a psychological thing, which I'm pretty sure is where mirror gazing came from
It happened to me on numerous occasions. scared the shit out of me
I run the risk of experiencing that effect often at school. When I use the bathroom I never turn the lights on (don’t ask it makes me feel more comfortable and/or hidden LOL) and when I go wash my hands I always stare in the mirror, I do know what’s supposed to be happening when I stare but it never does. I often almost stare too long but act quickly enough and look down from time to time. I’m not sure wether I’m glad it never happened to me or I’m curious as to what should happen if I do try it (which I won’t 101%)

For those saying they heard "Cat", I think it wasn't because a ghost said it, but that Faline opened their mouth to start talking. You can't really see it because they have a mask on, but you can see Faline's shoulder move the same time the sound comes up. Also, given the quiet of the surroundings, it makes it easier for the mic to pic up small sounds you otherwise wouldn't notice without a microphone.
And about the shaking part, it wasn't a gust of wind, it was because Faline had tapped the mic of the phone a few seconds before, causing the phone to shake.

I have experience of scaring the shit out of my hostel roommates once
So when I was a kid, I used to watch brain games and I remember watching an episode where they explain the phenomenon that happens on ouijie board, basically its all related to brain fooling us
Well.. we all sat in a dark room with a ouijie board and one my friend's had a deceased relative whom she wanted to talk to.. I, on the other hand just saw how everything was going on... like we saying random things to "summon" spirits and stuff and then all of us held the pointer lightly, the pointer all of a sudden started matching the yes and no and the letters of the name of her relative
Well.. poor her, got her beliefs shattered when I broke the scientific news to her how her brain was the one moving her arm without her really consciously moving it
Next moment we did Charlie Charlie and here things got a little bit..uhh.. weird because this time there was no wind or anyone to touch the pencil and when we said "charlie charlie are u here?" The pencil automatically turned to yes and we were all spooked when at the same time my perfectly fine working lamp flickered
Till this day I don't know if someone had really loudly breathed loll
the charlie charlie thing is so true... I tried it in my school with my gang of friends and there was pin drop silence, no wind and the pencil clearly moved to yes when the question was asked. We were so spooked that we quit it. The next day we had planned to try again, but we got reported and the teachers came running to stop us. So that was the end of the experiment.
