I always value people who have the amount of courage to actually go out alone. It's definitely a skill I'd like to learn and people say that more you do it the easier it gets but it's so scary. I'm about to be driving soon so I can officially have my independence. It makes me feel ready but not at the same time. Even something as simple as eating alone in a busy lunch area is scary every time. I thought I learned how to enjoy being alone but I still have this lingering fear that people are secretly judging me for not having anyone to sit with.
