I have been casting these onto my larger television and I sit and relax with some coffee in the morning and think about all the good things in life.
Right at minute 9.. the brickwork on that bridge is stunning. That alone justified this entire video.. not to mention the other amazing views!
Wonderful! It will be my new favorite at 4 AM when I need a lullaby to fall asleep. With the window slightly open, it’s like being there. Thank you from 🇨🇦
Love this I watched years back a Narrowboat programme just like this.So relaxing to watch and listen to.
Glad you enjoyed it
A delight to the senses. A time to be mindful and lose yourself in the sights and sounds.
Love the real sounds! Anyone who wants music just mute and play Your own!!! Love this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow..it feels like I am floating above the water...so peaceful. Thank youx
Thanks very much! A totally different perspective of Birmingham. Really loved it there, especially the people. Salt of the earth.
Very relaxing! My great Grandmother was from Birmingham! I’d love to visit one day! 🥰
Really mindful

So peaceful and relaxing. So beautiful there!
@9.40, I can almost hear Colin shouting "Train!"
This a journey I've been meaning to do for years! Brilliant! Love the architecture, skew arches, industrial desolation - amazing! Keep 'em coming - thanks!
Thank you so much for creating these videos!

Out of this world - so quiet and peaceful and reflections amazing. Very little human activity and sounds - did you edit out any noises. A few trains and so few walkers.
. Amazing footage Colin.
Hi , we stayed in a hotel just up the road . Spent many happy hours in gas street , and bridley place. Wonderful holiday.👍 Cheers lads.
Thanks Guys! This is like having "Captain Otis's" POV.
This is now my new favorite live camera.
For those who enjoy fun with various canal boats, I also recommend Venice:

excellent! 👍😀
Have been watching videos from the cab of a train in Scandinavia and happy to have a change. So peaceful - great for mental health.
How awesome. The reflections are insane. Love the junction at 28:22.
That was actually so quiet for being in the city! Some lovely spots along there!
They are lovely and unobtrusive. Vaguely reminiscent of something I saw on Amazon but quieter. Nice work . . . thank you. And I will always appreciate your narratives
So beautifully peaceful. Ahhhh...
So beautiful and peaceful. Is it possible for you to put on name at the places you pas?
Genius idea! Love it. It's a fantastic and sedate use of our TV. It's like a moving picture frame!
Great idea guys!
I thought “oh guys no sound how disappointing”. At going 20 minutes and 19 seconds in I thought, surely not. Tried the volume button. What an idiot I am. Just absolutely loved this, so relaxing. Thanks so much, I can see these becoming my de-stressing videos. Wonderful. 💕
Very relaxing ❤️
Very relaxing
Thanks for doing this so relaxing
Perfect, love em. Best wishes
Awesomeness ☮️.& ❤️
Loving these......xx
All most like being there . NICE !
Brilliant
Thanks for this video, I feel a real connection to this being a Brummie.
Absolutley love your you tube videos. The wife and I found it by accident, the wife is English and was living near the old RAF Upper Heyford where I was stationed in the US Air Force. You went past the town she lived and I used to fish off the lock at Somerton. We currently live in Florida, USA and enjoy seeing secenery from our days over there. Cheers and keep up the good work.
We have done this stretch too 🙂 So calm and then you hit the centre of Brum!
26:22 I was puzzled as to why there was a wall in the middle of the canal. So peaceful listening to the sounds of water, trains and other background sounds. Thanks 👍
Watch the vlog with commentary and Colin will tell you 👍🏻
@@BritainByNarrowboat oh yes. I remember now 👍
Just like being there. A little gurgling from the bow slicing through water and a nice rhythmic chug from the engine.
You should get sponsors.
Great stuff, the reflections are So Vivid, looks like a parallel world floating in the sky. Been enjoying your vids for a couple of years and also enjoying the new format, the 360 vids are awesome. Crack on.
Cheers from San Diego
Ruddy hell that was a noisy start to the trip. But really lovely watching the screen change and the water flow under the bow. Trains. 😃
good vid on the cut thanks lee
Hi guys, thanks for sharing these calming videos. I think they would be especially great running in the waiting rooms of doctors dentists or hospitals. I also think they would be nice on a big screen in the dining room or gathering room of a senior living place. I'm going to try to figure out how to cast this to our TV. Many thanks for sharing this new experience, Gloria, 🐂
just need a hdmi cable from computer to the tv
My brain still yells “Train”!
I am hoping that one of your fabulous videos will show a start from dead stop. I am curious how long it takes to get out to your standard Cruise speed
Thank you for this channel, so relaxing.
This channels good so much better than those foxes er what ma call it s
Dont worry they l never catch up wiv ya 🤣🤣🤣 cheers Rob
@Britain by Narrowboat. A very pleasant cruising video, as always with you and Shaun, and on my old working canal routes, but I have to ask, why on approaching the St Vincent Street Bridge, at 36.58, you chose to travel on the "wrong" side of the water and use the left-hand arch and the same thing under the Sheepcote Street Bridge. I found that unusual for two experienced boaters as yourselves. It`s a good job that Albert the old "Harbour Master" for the City didn`t catch you.
sigh I have to admit nice idea... less means More! Nice idea

This may seem off the WALL, but, when they demolish old buildings, if they “gently” laid the old brickwork down in sections, could be sold as pavers for yard work with a mini blue Plaque identifying the historical building it came from. Off the Wall Creations by Fox and Fox?
Cheers from San Diego
That is what Atlanta did when the Lowes Theater (where Gone with the wind premiered), it was disassembled. the brincks, albeit really expensive, are available still...there were a lot of them. My home was built with used brick, come to think of it...
@@JamesAllmond Home! You had a home built of brick? Bloody luxury. You youngsters don't know what poor is all about . . .
Like it but would have loved some gentle meditating type music in the background.
Easy, put some on of your own choice 👍🏻
