One of my great grandfathers on my Mom’s side, Joe Cerrato Sr. was the Senior Citizen Bowling Champion Of 1992-1993 Season at the College and Holiday Bowl in my town of Texarkana. He got put in the Bowling Hall Of Fame there for his perfect scores.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to thoroughly get a good look at the museum, but you actually showed and talked about everything that you saw as if you were actually bringing “us” along. Fantastic video! Looks like you had fun! Kindest regards!

You find the most fascinating educational places to check out. Had no idea there was a bowling hall of fame and museum. I enjoyed bowling. Had no idea how far back bowling went. Glad they allow people to bowl on a little smaller version of a bowling alley. Thank you for doing this one. Can’t wait to see where we go next

My late grandfather has a room dedicated to him in this museum: the Reichert Learning Center. Jack F. Reichert was once Brunswick’s CEO until his retirement in 1995. I’m proud to say that I knew him for 8 years of my life before his unfortunate death from cancer in 2004. From my memory, he was a VERY humble man, and from the stories I’ve heard from the people that knew him, he was very charitable.

I took bowling in college and we had to learn some of the history as part of the class. The older gentleman who owned the bowling alley where the class met had been one of those people who reset the pins in his younger days. He even had a picture to show us of him sitting on top of the lane. It was very interesting!

The mouth is goofy looking but the projector face on that pin boy is a really clever way to do animatronics that actually move and speak, but (I assume) require less maintenance and degrade less than some of the demented things you’ve shown in other videos.

My current job is in a bowling alley. All those various weights you saw apparently are designed to alter the speed and spin of the ball. So if you have a habit of throwing too far to the right where you keep getting gutter balls, the right ball with the right amount of spin (and some bowling lessons) can help correct the problem.

It used to be in St Louis across from cardinals stadium. They had lanes you could bowl on with different pinsetters from live pin boys to more recent times...They moved down to Texas what is now called bowling campus with all governing body’s of bowling in one building

Joined a young adult club in my 20's to bowl and then as a senior, a senior bowling league. never was a high score bowler but did enjoy it. The bowling alley where I bowled as a senior was recently sold and had been in business since 1959 and iwll now be a bank and other commerical entities. Too bad.

Bowling was a big deal back in the day. Dad watched weekly televised championships. Mom bowled on a local league. Beer flowed. Us middle/high school kids hung out/partied in the parking lot. Met my 1st "true love" at the local bowling alley, turned out, his family owned it. We played pool & pinball more than we bowled, but I still enjoyed the game, even had Mom's swirly red, white, & blue ball re-sized for me when she retired.
