I see lots of people ragging on Dino’s performance here (as if they could do better) but they seem to forget that many of his renditions on the show were a bit tender, melancholy, intimate. Listen to accustomed to her face, mood for love you see what I mean. Besides, if you want to hear the song a certain way, more jovial, there is always studio version or others to listen to. Some of us are happy with this performance. Bless you Dino
One of my favourite songs. I remember reading that Dino couldn't speak english when he was very very young and spoke italian. Do you reckon he started to forget the italian language around the taping of this clip or I could be wack and overthinking it since learning a language is something that stays with you for life?
Languages don’t always stay with you for life. My grandpa was fluent in English and Italian all of his early years. Now the most he can do is write italian or translate a few things, he can’t speak it. So I’m stuck having to teach myself the language. It’s a shame, but it’s the truth.

He was pissed at something or someone, not our Dino except for the voice. He was getting married to Cathy in 4 months. Read from Deana Martins book she would go to the studio and boss everyone around.

I don't like the studio version of this song. There's another version that is light and fun. Dean is not at his best here.
