- SOR2 Skate is a good character, but he's a little weird. His basic combos do very little damage, while his kicks and blitz does a lot. He's solid if you use him as intended, but honestly, he's just not my style.

@@hectorreyes8256 Well, roller blades (and yes, there IS a difference). Roller skates have two rows of wheel which are normally wider wheels. Roller blades have one row of thinner wheels. And the fact that a child can keep his balance on those blades while fighting is incredible. Also the fact that this child can do flips and always land on his feet while wearing roller blades is just insane.

I prefer SoR 2 skate. SoR 3 version of him has no eyes and is actually pretty creepy when he smiles with a black dot as his eye.
Corkscrew Kick is a classic move. Beating bosses with that move and the screen going into slow motion as they wail in the air looks cool as shit

First time I played SOR2 Skate in this game I was blown away by how much damage his Blitz does, lol. I'm tempted to call it overpowered, it does INSANE damage
It is insane! Although the SOR3 blitz is stronger. The perfect Skate would have the forward grab kick from SOR2, the back grab head punch from SOR 2, Corkscrew kick, the sprite, vertical roll and blitz attack of SOR3 Skate.
it was nothing compare to Maxe's backbreak damage!

Any reason to use him over SoR3 Skate besides the better star move?
Yes sor2 skate star move is better than sor3 skate star move in streets of rage 3 hes star moves was way better especially when he gets 3 stars I don't know why they didn't give him that one when he does a row and then he does a split
Skate sor2 way better more pop ups and stun moves jump headbutt is the most op move basically beat mania with just that attack
His alternate blitz move in-line rush is so goddamn OP

@@brandonabel6939 They did a fine job with that. I played the hell out of SOR2 on the Genesis back in the 90s so it was a surprise that SOR4 would bring back it's characters and soundtrack.
Yeah I never played sor1 I played sor3 but I didn't like it that much compared to sor2 think everybody know bout SOR2 I be playing it on my phone
@@brandonabel6939 Of course, SOR2 is the best one for most. A lot of people like SOR1, and I liked it too. SOR3 is considered the black sheep of the series but the Japanese version is better since the US version changed too much of it.

This dude has got to be the weirdest fight character--stealing ninja gaiden's throw. And doing break dancing lol. Fighting on roller-blades. Streets of rage is absolutely wacky--a big bowl of salad hiding in a telephone booth! Hilarious! Who has time to eat a salad while fighting thugs. Should have gave him a henessy.
