Telling the blind guy to stay in place until you are out of sight is beyond evil
Does this mean that he will stand there for the rest of his life or until the spell is removed?
@@true_lucifer659 yes.
@@true_lucifer659until the spell is removed of course
@@true_lucifer659He doesn't.
The complicated part is: he only used the curses thinking about other people and NEVER about himself
He used Crucio and the first thing he asked the protagonist was if they were okay
He used Imperio to save his sister and Avada Kedavra for the same reason
He's not evil, but he's willing to be for the ones he love
From that perspective he's pretty much Snape in the 1800s.
Not really, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and selfishly wanting to help others, isn't selfless.
@@diekssus7194 dude it’s his sister. All that sounds good in fairy tales, but in all actuality anyone would try to help their loved ones anyway way they could.

Sebastian carries this game. God it’s such an amazing game.
@@Stolenn truth. The main story was kinda so-so.
Should say was he died at the end
Sebastian personality is on point. He is 100% a Real Friend to the player.
Yea true Seb was the only guy i willing shared the ancient magic secrets to
Sebastian and his quest line are the best part of this game. So dark and full of action and hard decisions
I like sebastian, poppy is also sympathetic, natsai was a girl of honor in the last scenes. The game is absolutely amazing
its so grounded and feels so human for a story about magic
Not using dark magic isn’t hard
Uses crucio a literal torture curse
Asks if you’re alright
They were locked in a room with no way out other than to use Crucio, he even gives you the option to use it on him instead.
In order to crucio cause a lot of pain the user needs to really want it to be painful, so in other words he resist a tolerable one 🪄
That's why he's a W character
@@aldohiciano1099 Yeah but there can be "Really wants it to be painful to get past this barrier!" and "Really wants it to be painful to actually torture someone!"

Sebastian stole the show on the game. You really feel for him. Prefect example of a well developed character.
Right?
Bro ominis is blind and he got told while under imperio to stay in place till we are out of SIGHT 💀
Lmao bro that got me too like 💀💀💀💀
He sees with the wand some shit idk but he a cool guy
I will 🤣
I was actually laughing at this but then felt bad... And then laugh even more... If Ominis could see this, he'd feel very offended.
Honestly that would have been a great (or a cruel) joke if either the spell is immediately lifted because, “I’m blind, you idiot! You are already out of my sight!” Or if he never shows up again because he would have no means to know if someone was out of sight for him.
They leave so much room for DLC potential in this game it excites me
Haven't played it yet, but they should definitely make a dlc where you become a rogue wizard
I just hope there will actually be DLC
This dude named his character Harry Potter when the game is suppose to be yourself smh lol
@@ox_trueprotagonistchrisred9085 when I read the subtitles, I was confused for a moment thinking some kind of time travel shenanigans were involved that brought Harry to the past.
Specially for the deathly hallows... You get a introduction to them, but you cant actually get any of them.
I’m a Hufflepuff and the part that we had to choose whether to turn Sebastian in or not was quite difficult for me. To choose between standing against dark magic or loyalty to my friend.
Eventually I chose not to turn him in because I recalled the part that he brought us to the restricted area in the library and when we were caught, he stood out and said that he was alone. He was a good friend and after knowing how Azkaban looks like through the Hufflepuff exclusive quest, I just couldn’t let such a friend get caught into it.
That's so sweet😭
I send him to Askaban since he already taught me all the curses. Also he killed his dad. Out of stupidity. He was dangerous.
@@jx4219 and solomon attacking you two in the middle of a group of inferi wasn't? a man literally planning on reporting the both of you for using the unforgivable curses and dark magic regardless of whether or not the player knows them. im sorry but going in, destroying a relic obviously keeping the inferi under control than proceeding to attack a pair of students while those same inferi are now hostile is not exactly a safe or smart thing to do if you don't plan on killing them
@@randomisaac5959 Yes but i'm not any student. I'm the chosen one. Wielding ancient magic. I just killed Ranrok before that. Sebastian wasn't needed there at all. They want to tell me i can't petrifico totales that random dude? Or just knock him in a wall? I'm so powerful i could beat 20 of him at once.
Sebastian just slides in at the last moment and steals the kill. Completely unnecessarily with a death curse.
Also the guy never saw me using unforgivable curses so he can't prove shit.
All I'm saying is, if he didn't kill the uncle, the family dynamic could have been recovered, but nope. He killed the uncle for no good reason. I liked the uncle too, he didn't deserve that.
I get the relic was controlling the Inferi, but the Inferi isn't that dangerous considering how Anne single-handedly wiped them out too. Uncle Solomon wasn't trying to kill them, he was just stopping Sebastian from getting obsessed with power and dark arts.
If Sebastian recovered his sister, he's going to resort to dark arts for future problems. That's why it's scary because immense power makes people continually want it. Only a select few understand the dangers that outweigh the benefits, therefore they decide to get rid of it completely.
I really feel like Sebastian is a great example of obsession and how blind it can make you. Sebastian is so desperate to recover the wonderful times he, his sister, and ominous had together, he cannot see the lines he crosses. He’s so busy chasing after what little hope he has left that he can’t see that crossing those lines comes with a price, all too quickly you can lose yourself in the desperation, grief, and loss life throws at you.
Nah, he’s gotta save his his sister bruh
@@hunterkubat4805 Agreed. Sebastian was a very sympathetic character. The fact is that you do not give up on someone just because 'the medical people say it is hopeless' in the real world.
The medical people have been wrong IRL numerous times and Sebastian is right: In order to CURE a Dark Curse, you unfortunately have to get EDUCATED on Dark Curses and 'have stuff to do with them' in the real world.
I would rather have him as my friend than you.
He didn't crossed any moral line though.
He used crucio on a willing person who knew what they were agreeing to.
He used the imperium to save someone from a murderous goblin
As for solomon, he basically killed ann by proxy by destroying the relic in his blindness.
@@thomasbardoux1692 Anne wasn’t dying first off just in pain like a chronic illness, Sebastian said himself that the relic wouldn’t cure her, but instead allow him to control the curse. Solomon was worried that the cure would cost a price, I’m assuming that best case if there was one it would require them to pass the pain to someone else given the nature of dark magic. I’m not saying he didn’t have the best intentions following his heart, I’m saying it’s very easy to lose sight of what you are doing, as he did with the killing curse costing him his sister depending on your ending or choices.
That questline gave me FEELS, damn it was intense.
I really like Sebastian, you can feel that sometimes he loses footing but is still doing that out of love for his sister. Really interesting character
The thing is, he isn't doing it out of love for his sister. He uses his love for his sister to justify what he's doing to make *himself* feel better again.
He is doing everything based on what *he* thinks is best for her, but completely ignores her feelings on the matter.
He is doing, what is easier on *him*. He is completely ignoring her wishes, does not attempt to understand her perspective. He is unable to fix her having changed in a different way than *he* can accept.
Sebastian believes he is doing it for his sister, but in truth he's blind and doing it for himself.
If he was acting out of love for her, he'd value her feelings on the matter more than his own. He'd do what grants *her* the greatest peace of mind, not what does so for *him*. And is too blind to see that it's *him* hurting her even more. Just because he is thinking of her all the time, does not equal that he does it with her best interests in mind. Just that he tells himself that he does so.
@@insentia8424 Y’all are all annoying af acting like this man is not mentioning his sister every 45 seconds if he’s able to in any conversation with somebody. He’s doing ALL OF IT for his sister. How can some of you just ignore the actual game and put your own spin on what’s happening because it better fits your narrative? He literally never says “I can’t wait to be more powerful” or “the dark magic is so exciting and tempting” or whatever. He ALWAYS says he’s studying dark magic to help cure Anne’s curse. Every single choice he says it’s for Anne. And you act like he’s lying???? That’s only your opinion, but it isn’t canon. In canon, ALL OF IT WAS FOR ANNE. Get over yourselves s2g
Also literally none of you know what Anne actually wants. You may say her telling Sebastian to stop looking for a cure is what she wants… but have you stopped to think that Solomon is literally screaming at them everyday saying there’s no cure and to have no hope, and perhaps THAT has manipulated Anne into also believing there is no hope anymore and to give up? Perhaps Sebastian is the only one holding that hope now, for her.
And his sister didn't ask for him to "heal" her. And know watching his own twin killing his uncle, their last family is painful for her. (And Ominis too because he lived with them three after escaping the Gaunt Family)
@@mabilleaudrey2154 this is the same person, who practically banished Sebastian from home for saving his sister. He'd rather had a dead niece, than nephew, who used Imperio to save her. He's also the one telling Anne, that there's no hope and she should give up and eventually die from this curse. It's a little bit more complicated than good uncle, bad Sebastian.
@@dmu5370 But Anne told us that she feel she can't be healed. And for me as theone who's cursed, Anne saying is more important than everyone else here.
And in a second thought about Sebastian becoming a dark wizard; i'm not sure this kind of magic can heal someone. If curses exists to torture, take will or even kill i'm not sure it can heal or make people better (Isidora learned it too by being killed)
Also Hermione cast a curse on the AD list and the effects are irreversible. The friends of Cho Chang still has injuries on her face and even its a little less visible, she isn't healed at all because no one knew how to make it disappears for good.
So how could Sebastien could reverse the curse of her sister when wizards can cast irrevesible curses on other ?
A death eater also created his own curse... No one knew who to lift this curse because he was killed during a fight.
Its a little sad they killed Rookwood because because of his death, no one will save Anne if the curse is selfmade by him.
So instead of studying he just wanders around Hogwarts, casts unforgiveable spells and ultimately kills his uncle?

Literally. Uncle went to one hospital and didn’t even bother getting a second opinion from a different professional, he just gave up
Fr the Uncle gave up to early on helping the sister but honestly I think Sebastian using Avada Cadvra like that was messed up. I was ok with him using it on the goblin to save his sisters life, but using it to kill his uncle crossed a line for me. Idk it could be the narrating kinda set him up to seem like an angry ticking time bomb.
I tried to choose dialogue options that would agree with him but also try to stop him
Exactly
@@OfficialGhosttt I agree that Sebastian using the AK was to far. I think the real turning point between him and his uncle was when he used imperio to save his sister and got banished despite the fact she would have died otherwise
@@vanishhero964 You're right he did use the Imperio curse in a pretty fucked up way haha like he could have made the goblin leave but instead had him do seppuku (suicide by sword). I was on the side of it being a gut reaction to save his sister, but then he went super dark with it.
I was torn when talking to his uncle after but then got pissed off because the uncle starts accusing your character of being just as bad as Sebastien haha
Sebastian and Anne's story quest line is so grounded and human despite being set in a magic world.
Sebastian is best character in this game
Mines has something to say about that
Can we just acknowledge the AMAZING voice acting from whoever plays Anne because oh my god her voice made my heart break after Solomon’s death
"You made your choice" cleary made me feels she didn't wanted all that madness to happen and now they don't have any family members left. Just because his twin was stubborn to accept that Anne didn't want help.
Sebastian is definitely the best character. He is the only fully fleshed-out character in the game.
My next faves are Ominis and Poppy. Then Natty.
The other characters didn't get enough screen time to matter.
Natty is fucking annoying. All of them are except poppy and Sebastian IMO
i believe it depends on which house, because im not sure that you befriend sebastian as closely as you would if you were a gryffindor, i played as slytherin
It is sad you didn't get more out of your classmates other than the initial introductions that game, when you were just sorted. @@IllavelI played as Gryffindor and the relationship was the same.
I found it weird there were long side storylines for a student from each house but Ravenclaw.

Ngl Sebastian is shaping up to become one of my favorite characters in the entire Potterverse
the way at the end he was so blinded by rage, when his uncle stopped fighting and resorted to reason even when being pelted by spells. only for Sebastian to lose control and kill him and then immediately regret it... this game is so amazing
He didn't regret it. He even said that was Salomon fault when he never listen to what Anne, Ominis and us said to him.
@@mabilleaudrey2154there's something called denial yknow and as Google says

Idk for me it matches up pretty well with how sebastian acts and is a reasonable response for a 15 -16 year old to have
It goes to show how in that moment how full of hatred at his uncle he was to be able to successfully use avada kedavra because unless you truly wish that person dead the spell won't work
Yeah his uncle is pretty much responsible for this fall into being a dark wizard. Basically single handedly cranked up Sebastian's obsession even high due to his stubbornness on giving up

Imagine it was a personnal curse made by Rookwood. Remember self made curses can be lift by the creator of it... That's would explain no one could save Anne. We killed Rookwood so I doubt we can save Anne when the one who created the curse is dead.
That's mean Sebastian is a murderer and even if his intentions were good at the start, he totally screwed up at the end by using dark art and destroying his own family.
Sebastians Questline is the best. I also loved the PS5 exklusiv and the Part with the deathly hallows
The fact that you can go and bombard someone to pieces and it’s ok but ak is where we draw the line always perplexed me, as for the side quest the saddest part in the entire quest line is that anne and ominous lose anyway, personally i found Sebastien and his uncle equally at fault with Sebastien narrowly edging his uncle out but that could be because we spent more time with him, the two things that made me send Sebastien away were his total lack of remorse to his dead uncle his second last living relative and more importantly the reaction when the book was destroyed.

Sebastián is the MVP in this game. Him using Avada Kedavra on his jerk uncle is so satisfying to watch.😎
But he will be older than him more than dumbledore
@Jaeger19Ultima hardly doubt it. Sebastian is a good guy, he used the dark path only for the sake of his sister, so out of love. Hard to believe he would become evil and server Tom, unless he could trick him into promising him a cure for his sister in return for his services
@Jaeger19Ultima Indeed. He would also be the first person Grindelwald would seek and recruit as his apprentice/right hand man. Period.
@@alekizzu4705 Anne didn't asked to be cure. And she even told him to stop his madness but he continued. Sometimes, you don't escape from consequences of your actions and I showed it to him :) From the beginning he was joking about all the detention he had like it was nothing. But you forgot one thing: when you are punished, its because you did something wrong.
And if we let him at Hogwarts, he will pursuit his dark path by using forbidden spell to those who stand in his way. If he isn't punish after what he did, he seems to be the kind of people who will continue his goal, even if his sister fled from him. I'm pretty sure he will try to find her and kill her by accident. He's dangerous and Anne did well by leaving her home.
@@mabilleaudrey2154 first off, there are plenty of people who refuse treatment and opt to die. That doesn’t mean professional doctors don’t give it to them regardless and that’s also why there is suicide watch. Sebastian continuing to look for a cure despite his family’s reluctance is the epitome of unwavering determination and puts him on a higher moral standing compared to his family who has a duty to take care of her.
There are also plenty of people who commit crimes that go unpunished and those who don’t yet get in trouble. That’s why the presumption of innocence till proven guilty exists and why it’s so crucial. Rather that immediately concluding that someone did something wrong just because they were punished, ask yourself if the were appropriately responsible.
Lastly, you’re welcome to speculate about Sebastian’s actions without any reason or proof. One could say he could become a fantastic healer saving lives through appropriate use of magic and end up becoming recognized by the rest of his family. That’s a rather optimistic approach which contrasts your pessimistic view of him becoming an evil tyrant.

This is the only "Moral Thing" I don't like about Harry Potter World in General:
It is forbidden to use an "Unforgivable Curse" to both friend and foe alike...but it is okay to Petrify, Desintegrate, Explode, Burn, Freeze, Turned Small then Squished like a Bug, Maimed, Pushed with "Depulso" out of a Building or into anything that impales or even the common charm "Wingardium Leviosa"... yeah a Spell that doesn't move animate objects...but that doesn't include peoples shoes...which are inanimate. You can levitate their shoes while they are wearing them...those with Tight Shoes are pretty much screwed... You can get dropped head first from High up in the sky if they so pleased. But wait...oh there is a spell where you can Levitate anything: Levioso! 😅🤣 Trust me...I've thought about how to use each and any spell "realistically" if we could harness magic. And all of them are ridiculously dangerous. At the very least..."Avada Kedavra" is actually the most "Humane" spell yet. Kills you instantly. No pain whatsoever. 😅🤣 The other spells? Aaaah they are going to suffer for a bit before they die. 🤣
was wondering why its that low resolution.....dunno graphic card on ps5 is that bad😬
How the hell is Avadakadava worse than Incendio? I feel like they will do the same job but the fire will be way more painful.
Avada Kedavra kills instantly, no remorde. It's not even apple to apple. Compare it with Crucio if you want to compare their capabilities of torture.
@@shiberu_7s This person has obviously never been burned before.
Look at it this way. With incendio sure it hurts more but there is a chance of surviving and more ways of counteracting it. The curse is just point and click death. It's nit so much the pain but the fact nothing can be done once it hits you.
@@nikeshmistry99 If HP were reality, the killing curse would be one of the more merciful curses.
It's impossible to debate on the effectiveness of healing in the Harry Potter world because it's so inconsistent in the lore; but the mental damage of feeling your skin melt off would be a lot worse than Avada Kedavra and the game explicitly says that using magic to remove bad emotions is dangerous, so there's no easy fix.

@Sunny World Productions So a good person can't have bad decendants?
@@sunnyworldproductions4818 yep, ominis is a sane, mature and level headed kid. Not a psycho like sallow
“have it your way father” avada Kadavera!!!
When the quiet kid learns the dark arts
haha he named his character harry potter, that's cute
Do we get to keep the souls of the people we kill? And can we create horcruxes?
No
Firstly, I don't think the game will let you have THAT kind of fun. Secondly, that isn't how Horcruxes work. That isn't how _anything_ of that sort works!
You murder someone in cold blood, and that causes your own soul to fracture, then you take that fragment of your being and transplant it in a vessel of your choice.
You don't use the souls of your _victims_ to make Horcruxes. that doesn't do anything for _you,_ because it isn't _your_ soul.
Calm down, Voldemort
@@williamzhang153 hell no, imagine how much more fun the game would be if you could just be evil, it's a whole different experience
@@liquidsnake6879 just be patient. Modders Will make it posible
“Harry potter” wow, so clever. It must be not so easy to come up with such unique names. You really do have creative mind 👏
Then when we use it, everyone's just like "oh no, anyways"
I really wish we could have helped Anne and Sebastian I felt so bad for them....
you reached the ending yet?
We should call him Professor Sebastian
I too took the first curse so the door can open. Wondering how many decided to do just that to a good friend Sebastian.
For me Ominis is more Hufflepuff than he ever was Slytherin - good, loyal to friends, truthful, hate pure-blood shit and black magic. I wonder why he was sorted into Slytherin - only thanks to blood ties to Salazar? So blood ties are more important to the Sorting Hat than character traits?
It might have something to do with the fact that as a Gaunt he probably knew that his family expected him to be in Slytherin. If he was sorted into Hufflepuff he would probably be disowned by his family.
The Sorting Hat knows your innate ability, but in the end, it's your choice whether you want to go with its recommendation or raise an objection and be sorted into the house you want. That's also true if you want to stay in a house out of obligation to your family.
It also can't account for any possible major events in your life, trauma, etc. that can change your core values.
@@Inquisitor_Askeladd We was already tortured by his family, i'm glad he found Sebastian. But in the end Ominis didn't have a home anymore just like Anne.
If you reject the curses during the side missions, are you locked out of them forever?
No you can go to the wardrobe time machine and get them
@@Djofminecraftia what’s the wardrobe Time Machine?
@@michaelarmstrong6102I feel as though he was joking but no from what I’ve read you’re not able to go back
@@TheeUA-came think I found what he was talking about, Sebastian shows you a secret cupboard passage where he hangs out. Maybe you can go see him there in end game?
@@michaelarmstrong6102 Not the end game, you can ask him for Crucio and Imperio at any point in the Undercroft after you do their associated quests. Avada Kedavra is after the main quests.
I wonder if Sebastian Sallow a true psycho or is he "diving into the dark arts" truly to save his sibling no matter the cost...
Edit: But in the end, I feel it will all be for nothing and Sebastian will snap (becoming a true dark wizard or "self ending", both options being possible at that point).
Swallow was always fascinated with dark arts, Annes health just gave more excuse and a leverage to dvelve deeper into it.
And if you make the choice to turn him in to the authorities in the end, then he'll REALLY lose it. Expelled, excommunicated by his own sister, betrayed by his two best friends, and no future or goals to focus on. If he ever leaves jail, Anne will most likely have passed on and he'll never trust Ominis and protagonist again. Easy prey to be manipulated into being an actual deatheaters or other horrible life path.
@@rabiyaashraf950 I learned more about the guy, he really loved his sister, he dvelved deeper into the dark arts because he truly felt there was no other way to save her.
However, Dark magic corrupted his fragile mind (anger towards his uncle and his apparent desire to let his sister die and desperation to find a way to save her) from what I could see and only his friends would keep him "in the light" so to speak if you choose to not turn him in.
I'm hyped for Dark Lord Sebastian
Dark Lord Sebastián sounds dope af
So when I got crucio I used it on Sebastian but I thought he was gonna be reluctant but he was like “yeah right let’s have it”
I was hopefully looking for sectum sempra but realized that this game took place decades before snape

@@alekizzu4705 he straight up murdered someone with an unforgivable curse, that right there already dooms your soul and he will end up like baby voldemort in the afterlife
@@tylerprudhommeNo, for Tom Riddle it was like that because he created horcruxes but Sebastian just killed and didn’t create Horcruxes
@@skeetplayz still, murdering someone fractures your soul in the potterverse, that's why making horcruxes works right? you shatter your soul by killing someone, then infuse the broken-off shard into an object ( = horcrux). he won't end up like baby voldemort, but his soul is damaged either way

This will be my Slytherin playthrough. My first playthrough I told myself not to use the dark arts.
