Given that all these meetings and considerations are going simultaneously, I wouldn't role out even straight group buy of the vehicles. or another possibility is group buy of the support vehicles.

In order to protect the project (and frankly their own industry) Sweden is ordering the vehicles that were meant for Norway originally. it was originally 24 & 24 vehicles and now Sweden is buying 48 vehicles.
No Norway wanted the gun to fullfill the sepc give originally which is does not even do now. That is why Norway went with a solution that fullfill all spec.
Leopards is 60 tons and they do not have problems? Besides this it was by fare the best in all areas during the trials compared with the other systems. Again, you do not know what you are talking about.
K9 Thunder is an amazing SPG. It has more than 50km of range with a newest built 155/52 artillery mounted on it, and less than 5 seconds of emargency reloading speed. A firm housing for safety of the crew against 10m close-landed artillery rounds, and 1,000 hp engine for it's speed. What a nice choice they made there.
Yeah that seems like a possibility, but its not yet field tested here, yet. So things might change. Though i would definitely choose that over any other SPG right now.
I don't know why K9 is in Norway. And I also remember that I was a K9 crew about 12 to 13 years ago. When I do my militery service, I started with howitzer named KH-179 and then our infantary division reorganized mechanized division. So our artillery battalion changed KH-179 to K9. anyway really nice video.
The Armed Forces will receive new artillery in 2020-2021, there will also be new ammunition from Nammo that can be shot about twice as far as today's. With the use of canard wings and a front control system, the slide projector will be able to steer into targets more than 150 kilometers away.
South Korea, one of the top ten arms exporter in the world, can provide any weapons you want. Tanks, Aegis class ships, fighting planes, just name it. They will contribute to maintaining strong deterrent against any aggression. :)

i was k9 crew during my militarily service. when i was driving, i felt braking skid. also driver's face is exposed to the wind while driving. see 2:19.... I was hard to in winter.
There are 2 Nordic country will buy it soon!!! Norway 🇳🇴 and Finland 🇫🇮 , Turkey have their own version (T-155 Firtina), Poland 🇵🇱 have the (AHS Krab), VN 🇻🇳 Army need 20 of this to strengthen the artillery unit and ground force, after upgrade on Air Force and Navy.

Base of K1,K2 and looks like K9 is same, Abrams. They all have rubber tracks. Good on solid and flat surfaces. But in mud and etc its mobility reduces...
the track itself is modular (rubber and/or steel cleaves), and the crew can outfit the tracks in the field to deal with snow/ice. Korea also has a rather severe winter, so they won't be totally butt ass naked when dealing with the Norwegian winter

I think K9 is the best choice in terms of economy. K9 is already in use in Poland, Turkey and South Korea. Indian aarmy is also interested to buy it.

K9 Thunder is an amazing SPG.

They can switch from rubber tracks to steel tracks, and vice versa.
