Most people would call it a conflict of interest when a domestic abuser is sent out to a domestic abuse call 40% of the time. Police departments just call it Tuesday.

      Not just that police department.
Look at any case out of the US in the last 20 years and you'll see almost identical situations, in the thousands.
This is a systemic problem, massive corruption from the top down. They place protecting each other from accountability over their alleged duty to serve the public.

@@MrRufus302 that's a weird system, that an employer can avoid accountability for the employee by firing a person, when the employee afterall acted on behalf of their employer. They were afterall still responsible for the employee WHEN it happened. But again, - as a Scandinavian I don't see much logic or justice in the US judiciary system.
P.s the other police officers are equally responsible since they didn't step in and stopped him. - and they are still employed by the city.

How bout arrest the kid and parent disrespect cops racism harassment. It should off set lawsuit. If a cop off duty said f blacks or just a white. That would be lawsuit. Maybe we should hold all Americans especially blacks to higher standards. Simple if a cop is arresting a black fights grabs gun runs. That's racism especially if cop is white. Maybe five years for parents and kid. Simple why run kid only deserves sue cop not department. If a black kills cop family of cop can't sue black. It would be thrown out of jail. So a black don't deserve a damn dime from tax payers. Look it up deon sanders kid broke security guard back. Guard won 11 million dollar lawsuit. Daddy told guard take gun if I read right. Daddy is worth 40 million. Kid is making money playing college ball. The kid is trying to go bankrupt. If judge allows this BS needs barred. So if kid sign 20 million dollar contract. Judge allows bankrupt. He owes guy nothing. Why he is hot headed punk that almost killed a guard. How bout this guy talk about real problems. I know someone hit by uninsured driver won 200000 lawsuit. The judge allowed that off on bankruptcy. So if lady married rich or hits lottery she owes nothing and did damages to the lady. So a punk kid hear runs mouth still alive will get million dollars. People deserve the money won in lawsuits. For the pain and suffering. How bout a lady Uber driver or something has kid in car not in seat. The passengers asked about it. She stopped on a busy highway. Told them get out on side of traffic husband was killed. This lady needs sued 5 million and jailed. Nope there sueing Uber or Lyft. Who's fought is it guy died driver. Pull off on ramp. How bout a kid that decided to see what happens if I shoot cop with videotape it. He shoots at cop cop unloads gun protect himself which is by law ok. Kills trash. Of course Democrats chief of police one is black. Gave mother 400000 to keep faith in police. Can u answer a stupid kid thinks it's a game. DO U KNOW HOW MANY GUNS HE HAD. I DONT. BOTTOM LINE PAY MOTHER FOR BLACK VOTES. I say sue mom 5 million for cops mental problems and racism and for not teaching kids respect for cops. Plus she can go to jail for 20 yrs teaching kid racism and hate cops. Point I say stupid lawsuits cops once a year bankrupt. Companies like that driver allowed man to die bankrupt. Let me. Ask when Democrats want give FELON second chance a murder gets pissed off and shoots up a store. Or a rapist raped a person. The place is giving second chance but will get discrimination charges not hiring or hiring and sued for murder. How bout real laws for all.

      sexual battery on a minor

    • @Ancientneutrality
      @Ancientneutrality 3 місяці тому +1

@@TheDaveAppell can’t prove sexual motive. The charges would be as follows : 1. Assault and Battery:
      • Assault: The threat or attempt to cause bodily harm.
      • Battery: The actual physical contact that causes harm.
      2. Aggravated Assault:
      • More serious than simple assault, often involving the use of a weapon (which could include hands if the officer is trained in martial arts) or causing serious injury.
      3. Child Abuse:
      • Charges related to harming a minor, which can carry enhanced penalties.
      4. Excessive Use of Force:
      • Charges specific to law enforcement officers who use more force than necessary in their official capacity.
      5. Misconduct in Office:
      • Charges related to the abuse of power or violation of official duties.
      6. Civil Rights Violations:
      • Under federal law (e.g., 18 U.S.C. § 242), an officer can be charged with violating an individual’s civil rights under color of law.
      7. If an officer says, “If you don’t comply, I will beat your head in,” and then proceeds to attack the individual, the statement and subsequent actions could indeed be relevant in determining whether to charge the officer with attempted murder. The key factors would include the intent behind the officer’s actions, the severity of the attack, and the likelihood that the attack could have resulted in death.
      Legal Analysis
      1. Threat and Intent:
      • The statement indicates a potential intent to cause serious harm or even death. Prosecutors could argue that this demonstrates premeditation and intent to carry out a lethal assault.
      2. Severity of the Assault:
      • If the officer actually follows through on the threat and severely beats the individual’s head, this could be considered a substantial step towards committing murder, especially if the beating is severe enough to likely result in death or serious injury.
      3. Medical Evidence:
      • The extent of the injuries inflicted would be crucial. If the injuries are life-threatening or have a high potential to cause death (e.g., severe head trauma), this would support an attempted murder charge.
      Attempted Murder Criteria
      • Intent: The officer’s statement could be used to demonstrate intent to kill or cause serious bodily harm.
      • Act: The beating of the individual’s head could be seen as a substantial step towards carrying out that intent.
      • Result: Even if the individual does not die, the potential for death due to the nature of the injuries inflicted could support an attempted murder charge.
      Potential Charges
      • Attempted Murder:
      • The officer could be charged with attempted murder if the prosecution can argue that the intent and actions taken were likely to result in death.
      • Aggravated Assault:
      • Even if the intent to kill is not proven, the officer could still face aggravated assault charges due to the severity of the attack and the use of potentially lethal force.
      • Assault with a Deadly Weapon:
      • If the officer’s hands are considered deadly weapons due to martial arts training, this could also be a relevant charge.
      • Civil Rights Violations:
      • Federal charges for violating the individual’s civil rights under color of law might also apply.
      Conclusion
The statement, “If you don’t comply, I will beat your head in,” combined with a subsequent severe assault, could indeed support a charge of attempted murder, depending on the evidence and how the prosecution frames the case. The threat indicates intent, and the act of severely beating the head could be seen as a substantial step towards fulfilling that intent. However, even if the charge of attempted murder is not pursued or does not result in a conviction, the officer could still face other serious charges, such as aggravated assault or civil rights violations.
