It's absolutely viable, desktop mode, stylus support, Android 13, ongoing security patches to this point. I'm going to use this phone for at least another year and a half.
There's a lot of sellers on eBay that have really good ratings. Always look at that. eBay is not as bad as people think and even big store brands sell through eBay.
That one since launch. And yes that's unfortunately common over time with the wing. Even this one gets it occasionally but it goes away after a restart

I happened to own this LG Wing and this is the craziest phone in my collection, second to the Samsung Galaxy Edge
Fun fact the 6 edge + got me into smartphones
When I see LG phones, it's always seems like other manufacturer's phone designs only catching up with LG years later.

How old is your device. My device shows visible discolouration on the bended edges. White gets blue very quickly
