Colbert does it, and you can see him love it, but that’s always been one of my favorite quirks of John. When somebody takes a really deep shot at hm, he squirms around and pounds whatever chair he’s sitting in with laughter. See some of his Letterman interviews.

John Oliver is legitimately one of the BEST guests; his genuine glee and joy and ability to find humor and delight in ANYTHING? It's uplifting to watch.
He was the perfect guest on Russell Howard, both times -- look them up if you haven't seen them. He and Russell were pals when they were on the panel show Mock The Week together, and they never stopped being pals.

@Lo Fell Well that's a blatant lie. Using the UK as an example, the official death count is over 60k. But, the excess death counts (compared to normal years) is about 80k. So not only did 60k people die early due to corona, an extra 20k have died due to the impacts of corona on the nation.

Yeah my city (provincial capital) got 33 cases of covid and we went back into lock down. Depending on the province we take it relatively seriously
