Like never took me seriously at all. I was like a complete joke to him or a child throwing tantrum when in fact, I was completely devastated from within. I left after he pulled tht good ol line on me one night talkin, ‘I gotta pick up my homeboy from the airport in the morning.’ After leaving to pick up a ph call in his closet. I didn’t say a word. Knew in my heart it would be the last time this man ever sees me again at least not by choice. He went on about his business, laughin, joking and flirting around with ppl right in my face. I used to sit very quietly in the corner feeling isolated but kept all my pain to myself. Got myself together and never looked bk. Periodically I would receive random texts here and there from strange numbers some sayin hi (I called them resting the waters). Others like seasonal greetings etc., I never responded. Then one day a long text pouring out his fake love statin he ‘still loves me.’ I was over it by then: responded text me again and I call the cops.’ Tht was it. It got worse. The desperation. Sending ppl at my new job to talk to me, ppl flagin me down in parkin lots talkin how he’s going insane. Chile bye. Give tht boy an Oscar. It will NEVER EVER EVER happened again in this life time. After what I endured, the violation, humiliation, feeling used and played. I thank God! I grew. Not jst healed, I grew from the experience I’ve even dreams where he wants to harm me. Like never took me seriously at all. I was like a complete joke to him or a child throwing tantrum when in fact, I was completely devastated from within. I left after he pulled tht good ol line on me one night talkin, ‘I gotta pick up my homeboy from the airport in the morning.’ After leaving to pick up a ph call in his closet. I didn’t say a word. Knew in my heart it would be the last time this man ever sees me again at least not by choice. He went on about his business, laughin, joking and flirting around with ppl right in my face. I used to sit very quietly in the corner feeling isolated but kept all my pain to myself. Got myself together and never looked bk. Periodically I would receive random texts here and there from strange numbers some sayin hi (I called them resting the waters). Others like seasonal greetings etc., I never responded. Then one day a long text pouring out his fake love statin he ‘still loves me.’ I was over it by then: responded text me again and I call the cops.’ Tht was it. It got worse. The desperation. Sending ppl at my new job to talk to me, ppl flagin me down in parkin lots talkin how he’s going insane. Chile bye. Give tht boy an Oscar. It will NEVER EVER EVER happened again in this life time. After what I endured, the violation, humiliation, feeling used and played. I thank God! I grew. Not jst healed, I grew from the experience
