I do not usually comment on UA-cam videos, but I felt obliged to give you feedback, because this way of explaining the subject matter is unbelievably perfect. Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing this video with us!
As a radiologist specialising in head and neck and with a special interest in anatomy, this is truly excellent. Simple, clear but not superficial presentation. I loved it.
I’ve watched over a 1000 videos of anatomy and i have to say hands down ur the best at explaining and ur presentations are literally perfect!! Ur students are lucky to have you.
U r the best when it comes to teaching anat.I couldn't possibly imagine how hard u must have worked to get ur concepts so clear and yet so simply explainable.
I'm watching your video for the first time. Excellent and outstanding way of teaching anatomy.. finally I learnt the neck muscles thoroughly ( 20 years after graduation ) !
I must make this comment for the wonderful job you have done! After searching and looking for so many videos about muscles, yours is the most clear one so far. Thank you.
@@TheNotedAnatomist Hand surgeon/Ortho. I really enjoyed your drawings. Will show them to my residents. Really high level of education. Thank you again for your huge work!
@@MarcoGuidimarcolinosurgeon That is fantastic. I love the forearm and hand ... the hand surgeon i teach with says that no cool anatomy exits above the elbow :)
I am a sculptor and your explanation really gives life to the work I am doing right now. My work focuses on the shoulder but I am trying to connect upwards from the shoulder and yes I got the trap but missed some intricacies thank you!
This is the first time learning about the neck muscles and you explained it well. Your labeling and different angle views was perfect. Thank you for sharing.
I usually don’t comment on youtube videos but THIS IS AWESOME!!! I feel confident understanding anatomy after watching your vids… Please keep on posting such videos. Thank you so much for your great efforts.
Shing! there you go, I found the best channel for anatomy! Thank you so much Dr. for the good work you have done on these videos. They are really helpful.
This is such a good anatomy lesson. Thank you! It's been years since I have taken anatomy and this is doing a perfect job at re-acquainting me with everything. You're an amazing teacher!
i just found your videos, and i feel so happy about it. You break big topics that were hard for me to get for smaller parts and show it in an easy way. It's really helpful and saves a lot of time that i could waste on unefficient ways to learn. Thank you sir!
Thank you so much Dr. Morton. Your videos and explanations are helping to narrow down my fiance's issues shes having. Although she's been battling many unexplained symptoms over the years, the latest one is what seems to be the loss of control of her fascia. Her skin literally falls inches in the upper neck and shoulder area, she will occasionally gag, her speech becomes impaired and she says she looses connection with her feet and they feel like they weigh 500 lbs. Her life at the moment is extremely limited, as soon as she wakes up, she has to deliberately engage the muscles by doing several sets of resistance exercise with dumb bells for 3 - 4 hours straight, then its back to laying down for 3 to 4 hours then repeat. This has been going on for 3 months now. Prior to these new symptoms, we've seen over 17 specialists over the years with no clear diagnosis. There is a degenerative issue with c1 and c2 and i'm sure nerve damage in the area but this issue is compounded with an array of other symptoms from years of non movement and muscle atrophy, possible nerve damage from benign tumor on thyroid which was removed as well. That said, I know you are not a practicing doctor and understand you will not give medical advice, so with that said, I'm asking your thoughts on who we could see to attempt to tackle this current issue and attempt to trace it to the source, root cause? Thank you so much Dr Morton.
wow this is simply amazing , i came here cz i have nerve pinch on c6-c7. over last two months i have been studying like a medical student. The pain is not much but the way it affects day to day life is simply horrible. i am planning for a long physiotherapy session since i work in IT so wanted to check the muscles they train to help support my spine better. Thank you so much for this explanation.
Thank you so much for the videos ! We are surgeons and we always need helpful tools for our education! You're gifted to transmit knowledge!!! Συγχαρητήρια!
Most informative video on neck muscles I've ever seen, amazing. Also, no wonder the SCM and traps often have problems and trigger points. They are doing all the heavy lifting!
Thank you very much, Sir.. Your lectures are very clear, short but very effective.. I am from Bangladesh..really enjoy your videos..It makes learning really easy..
Thank you so much Dr. Morton! I love how you explain things and your videos really help me understand anatomy for my physiotherapy course. Just wondering if you cover the deep neck extensors in any of your videos?
Thanks Shoshi … I do not have a specific video that goes over the deep neck extensors. However I do have a video that goes over the deep back muscles which includes those muscles of the neck…ua-cam.com/video/HCbWuxQ2gn4/v-deo.html
Perfect! now i know why i can't turn my head to left side and why it hurts when i look down at my phone for a Long time 😂 Your explanation is Great thanks doctor
at 1:07 time tick, what is the strong muscle/ligament from the red cloth goes up to jaws , it is very stand out. what is the name of that "thing". I believe that you can feel it or grab it with thumb and index finger. not in the front of the neck but on the lateral side of the neck. please anybody knows the name ?
