Man this really makes me feel better about my 01 silver GT it really shows me that I can make some decent horse power out of a 2 valve thanks for sharing that story.
2v mustangs are awesome because they are the underdog, with boost they are fast cars no doubt. I was fortunate to have owned both, a GT with a Vortech supercharger and a Terminator cobra now. The GT with the stock motor and boost can pretty much keep up with a pullied cobra. They pretty much feel like two different cars tho, both are special in their own right but if you own a new edge the ultimate sn95 is the Terminator and we all hope at one point to own one. This GT is spectacular with such low millage, I love that he went with the 2.1KB blower I feel like that’s the right way to do it, and 439 to the wheels is perfect for a stock motor 2v! It also looks great 👍🏻
The MG Channel I watch your videos on here brother. Keep up the good work. New Edge material is few and far between. Our stories at least from a SC GT to Cobra progression are very similar.

That GT is literally the EXACT mustang I would have wanted. Year, color, everything. Especially w/ the Bullitt style wheels. I ended up finding and buying a black ‘01 Cobra which I love but honestly I prefer the looks of the GT.
Power to weight is all that matters. I don't get concerned when I see a 600-700hp car that weighs almost 5,000lbs. Big deal, my '91 coupe with 400whp will blow you into the weeds.

I’m late but, I have a 03 GT I’m only 16 and it has 200K miles. Internals are stock but I have a set of S3 Todd Warren cams ready to go in and I plan on getting a 2.1L kenne Belle. Would it be safe with 200k miles?
It could be fine. I’d be most concerned with the timing guides & tensioners and the engine bearings. When you install the cams replace all the timing components and if it spins a bearing then build the bottom end or replace the engine with a low mile one

It’s from a 2015 California special. Takes a little trimming and fitting to work but easy enough!
