I know this was posted many many years ago, but today I thank you. Definitely the hardest mission so far, I'm in chapter 11, just beat 1-62. Had to hold off on this one til the end. Having to libra it twice really adds to the difficulty.
Well even in the POST game I killed Orphan/Final boss at a HP count BELOW 10,000 and Gigantaur has a 10,000 needles attack so its nearly unkillable if nobody can has 10,000 HP if you can't end the battle before its used. But until you fill the Stun/Break meter then its nearly immune to everything that you can throw at it. aa
I get so worried about being trounced if I blind play Final Fantasy games, yet I wanna try this one sometime so I can understand what's going on on screen. This said I like Cactuar fights of any variant.
Did you do this post-game? i'am having a bit of a problem keeping snow alive towards the end of the cactuar health bar, damn thing spams needles almost if someone casted haste on it
this guy was SOOOOOOO anniying i literally did a backflip when i beat him i used vanille, fang and hooe an i didnt have all the classes maxed out just their 3 basic classes i used variety (vanille-med, fang-sab, hope-rav) persvaerence(vanille-med, vanille-med, fang-sab, hope-med)
I used to play with Hope, Light, Snow quite long before I understood that there are better options. Fang is actually better com and sen than Snow. Vanille as Sab and Med is a killer. Hope has low hp but has the highest magic stat. ❤ Love my party. I have never came this far in the post-game.
squall772bvb When you change paradigms, your ATB gauge sometimes refreshes so instead of waiting for your ATB gauge to be full again, you can just paradigm shift and it will be full again (which is much easier/quicker/better)
Previous comment told the basics. I'll explain a bit better. It is known as "ATB Cancel". When you change paradigms, everyone's ATB gauge will automatically be filled. So two of the same paradigm mean you can keep ATB cancelling between the two to keep a steady stream of identical commands. ATB Cancel might seem random, but it is an intended mechanic with a cooldown. After ATB cancelling, you get to execute two full command chains before you can Cancel again. Example: I ATB Cancel as a Commando into Commando, and I fire 5 (Ruin) commands with the auto-filled ATB gauge. Then I must wait for the gauge to fill up manually once, and I can ATB cancel just after I fire the last Ruin from this manual fill. Rinse and repeat. Something to note: ATB cancelling forces a Sentinel to stop guarding. They will immediately enter a new chain of guarding, but it does leave them vulnerable for a split second.
I don’t get why it’s called ATB “Cancel”. Summon Cancel and Item Cancel I get ‘cuz you’re “cancelling out” damage and/or Cut effects. But for this one, ATB “Refresh” sounds like the more accurate term to use.
@@Lilpuppyluvah A very late reply, but you are indeed correct: the accepted term for this technique is "ATB Refresh"! At the time of making my comment I was out of the loop on this one, and felt you "cancelled" waiting for the ATB gauge to recharge so I just defaulted to "cancel". Backwards logic for sure, and I apologize for the mistake. At least it's humorous to look at my comment in hindsight.
Same I equipped my 3 characters with early stagger items and weapons sazh's desperado while vanille's attack and fang as a defender and used renew and summon and try to be quick but I feel like it's cheating watching this masterpiece
How the fuck are you making daze last so damn fucking long without using something that extends status ailment duration on enemies? For me daze lasts 2 seconds max. My crystarium is maxed out for every character at this level
Shit I can't even land daze most of the time let alone complain about it being 2 seconds shit i wish I'm the same as you maxed crystarium on all characters even got the omega weapon for lighting still can't land fucking daze , but one thing I know for sure though is that I'm gonna master that shit I intent to make it my new personal mission

this is why i love daze xD gives time to buff and heal then assault

Thank you. Maybe not the same strategy exactly (no Synergist Fang for me) but this was the only strategy I tried that was actually successful.

When hope is taken out I may use renew rather than retry
Thanks for revealing your equipment and paradigms by the end of your video
Thanks man!! All your videos ROCK!!
5 stars on my first attempt. Followed this guide to the tee. Reprieve is the best thing to happen to Snow.

Vanille fang and hope is a nasty trio. Nice choice of players👍👊🏼
Yeah hope is a hoe I agree 💯

yaknow, i use almost the same team as you, but i use Sazh instead of hope. that's just me though
Why does it seem so easy for you.
Good synergies
ATB refresh.
I like final fantasy it is to nice but hiw do i find a chocobo chicken
You gotta do a mission to unlock them
10000 Needles
use the gold watch you get from mission 64 it gives you more time.
I already at maxed out stage 10 crystarium, do you think I should use 4 same accessories mentioned above or give Hope and Fang sprint shoes?
you can only get a total of four ember rings in the game, how come you've got six?
The end was perfect 😂
best vid here! thanks for your help :)
What is the point in changing the Paradigm Shift into the same one?
Master Keeper i wondered too

Damn...and I used the Random Stagger Combo and got lucky! D:

Is the Digimon Togemon? 😁
Nice

daze last a good while but it instantly fails when the enemy is damaged or provoked
His 10000 needle attack does 3k damage on my Snow which makes this impossible
Even with Protecta and Shellra 3.5k damage every time...
Nvm I got all the upgrades and did it hell yesssss
