- No Tier 3 weapons
- No Dark Matter equipment (Kaiser Knuckles, etc.)
- No TP or Random: Instant Chain
This fight can be broken down into luck and skill parts.
Luck
- How quickly debuffs stick, especially Slow
- How much Multicast interrupts your chaining
Skill
- Timing your stagger such that you will be in good health when it happens, Fang will be ready to Deprotect, and the target Raktavija will not be close to another Multicast
- Syncing your attacks continuously during stagger
There is only one real key to this fight: Multicast only removes buffs when Raktavija is staggered. Therefore, you have to make sure that it never takes action after being staggered. This is why Army of One is so good here.
If the second Raktavija gets off a Multicast during stagger, you should still be able to finish it off, but I like to complete the fight with my shrouds intact.
Fang's Genji Glove is not necessary; the fight will just take a little longer without it.
You will be counting the steps when Lightning runs up during the first Army of One and praying for no Multicast.

It keeps impressing me to see players like you who take down some of the generally feared super-powerful enemies with such style and relative ease at (comparatively to post-game grinding) low stats while the lot of us usually get killed with everything maxed out before we can even get a stagger in.
I've been watching your videos 2 years ago already but only now I can fully understand the true style and skill your present us. It's not an overstatement to say that your vids inspire me.

I love how the two Raktavijas bump up against each other in a glitchy manner while moving. It's like the game knows it wasn't meant to have two of these type of enemies in the same battle.
its a trick some people use, by switching ur ATB gauge is automatically filled so by having 2 of the same paradigms u can keep switching between them to speed things up so that u dont have to wait for the ATB gauge to refill after attacking

Dude the strat worked like a goddamn charm! I had stage 10 chrystarium and it took me about 5 times to get it right (including this one time that slow just would not stick so I kept getting spammed Multicast to high heaven) but the more I tried the closer I got hahahaha thanks now I only have Misisons 51 and 64 to complete 👍

Every other strategy-100000 tries. This strategy-1 try. The tortoise paradigm and Lightning's Army of One is what really saved the day. This fight was almost too easy at that point! Thank you so much for this!

/: I dismantled my Genji gloves at star level and got a trapezhedron. I saved and noticed I made a big mistake 30 seconds later. I WANT MY GLOVES BACK!!!
Omg that worked ! a bit of luck for the multicast ! I had tried all others tech but this one is The ONE ! If the debuff goes well, and the army of one strikes, then you're making it, but this is really really close for atomising the first one, then after the second is piece of cake. thanx a lot I was stuck on this one before chapter 13, for 8 hours ! It's hard game. Best video ever and best explanations ! Kudos to you !

Thanks to you I was able to do it! It’s true you don’t need to have level 10 crystarium. What I used was his exact paradigms with the same characters.
I had equipped Aurora scarf, witch’s bracelet, sprint shoes for Light.
Witch’s bracelet, power glove, genji glove for Fang.
Witch’s bracelet, aurora scarf, sprint shoes for Vanille.
:Note that I have all my party members leveled up all 6 roles to what level 9 crystarium would let me.
Took me 7 minutes to finish this the but the outcome was worth it! Good luck to everyone!
Ty, watched your video and got five stars on my first try. Using the army of one trick this was a cakewalk.
this was the very best way to kick their ass, nicely done. Now that fact that almost my crystarium is maxed the target time will drop dramatically, along with max tier 2 weapons.
Funny how I hated this game when I was a kid, but now I really like it's combat.

So, I myself researched "Army of One" and the chain gauge a bit better and I can't believe I've had this game for... idk how many years, I got it soon as it came out and I've beaten it like 3-4 times, I had no idea the higher the chain gauge after the stagger, the more damage you do and Lightning's AoO ability jacks up the gauge so fast it's awesome-sauce. I spent hours trying to kill these ass-holes just this morning trying to get Vanille's Death spell to land and I currently just beat the game and unlocked the last crystalarium levels and almost maxed one role per character so almost all my ppl have about 10k HP with equipment. Anyway, thanks for the video, I'm glad I found it and I guarantee I'm gonna get my god damn genji gloves finally, lol, thanks.

Can someone please tell me why they switch from all sentinel back to there original paradigm and do nothing?? Does it raise your defense to be in an all sentinel paradigm even if your doing nothing??? and i've tried this 100000000 times with my characters at almost 10000 hp and i die almost instantly :(( PLEASE HELP!!!!
I know this is over a decade old, but it might help someone reading in the future.
Tripling up on one paradigm amps up its effect. 3x Sentinels are super bulky and can generally take at least one hit of anything. Vercingetorix's Wicked Whirl is a great example; where with Tortoise, itll drop you to about half HP, but without, itll either leave you nearly or entirely dead.
Tortoise to survive the Multicasts... that's interesting.
I have maxed out Cristarium and maxed out ultimate weapons for all characters and still got my ass kicked pretty damn hard 😂 those Multicasts are destroying my party, and I have a lot of HP.
Ugh...finally got it. See...the problem with this battle is there are WAY to many unknown variables. Like if the status effects don't stick on the monsters properly,then it's VERY possible to get a fucking barrage of attacks against you like MAD. Like attacked practically double. It's really all up to the spells sticking. A lot of luck is involved in this,but still i applaud the video creator for this method,because while it may require a lot of luck,it's still an INCREDIBLY fast method.

It took me more than 20 minutes to kill this thing. I wanted the gloves for sacrifice farming so no full crystalariums yet.
So yeah, I had 12000 Hp and still took me like 18 minutes with my strategy...you are a GOD
I remember doing something like this awhile ago. So why is it that when I try it now, the enemies hit me with some sort of dispel and undo all my buffs?
Can you tell me what equipment (Accessories) you use? I used the same strategy but i struggled a little because of it. Still won though it is an Excellent Strategy.
7 years late, but the Entite ring upgraded to 25% helps a lot.

how do you get all 6 of the paradigm things? I had all of them once, but then somehow 3 of them disappeared! and I cant figure out why!
what's is the purpose of having 2 relentless assault in your paradigm?
So you can switch into both same paradigm with full ATB meter.

You have less hp then I do. And with the shrouds, multicast kills everyone in one move, and for u it badly damaged u in the beginning

I just used 3 resist magic accessories on all characters, no need for tortoise even. And yes, I got the 5 star ranking achievement long ago.
On PC it's much harder to kill them

Zeikfried Debes intentar sincronizar el ataque Andanada de Lightning con el aturdimiento de Raktavija, ya que la animación impide que haga el hechizo Antimagia+. Eso lo logras teniendo dos formaciones de ataque implacable para abusar del relleno automático de la barra ATB al cambiar la formación.

Ok,i don't know what the fuck is going on,but my games behavior is inconsistent with yours and I'm doing everything you've done to the letter. It's starting to piss me off. Every time i start this stupid fucking battle i use librascope and autobattle rakavija B,but then right after he's got imperil on him my characters keep switch to Raktavija A then back to B instead of focusing on 1 target they fight both,like morons. Wtf is this?
Basically they keep taking turns between both,like
