If you're talking about the original lineup, then that is Wes, Jimmy, Sean and Kenny - they all worked very well together musically throughout the 90s. But I agree with you that by this time, this was definitely the right combo (the 'classic', or most well-known lineup, in other words) for their revamped sound in the 2000s.
I was there. September 9. The next night I saw Michael Jackson at his 30th anniversary special concert. The next morning, at the urging of my coworker and friend, who always had a policy to not let a late night waste the next day, said let’s shoot for the early shuttle, so we sucked it up got in a taxi, and the 7:30 shuttle back to Boston. I remember looking back at Manhattan as we crossed the bridge and said “great call. What a gorgeous day.” Still have that Logan receipt with the date on it. Never forget.
Man..been looking for this version of Drift and Die since it aired on HBO on Reverb many years ago. Everything from this performance is awesome. Seen em once around these years at the Pageant in STL. They killed it start to finish
