I love Johnny Cages reimagined timeline, bro saw that he hit rock bottom and faced the biggest humiliation in his life and knew if he changed that in the new timeline he’d never grow and mature, so he made the timeline exactly the same and the only difference was keeping his wife alive, what a beautiful story.
I would like to see Karl Urban's Johnny Cage being more like the Mortal Kkmbat 1 reboot Johnny Cage, except he is not married to Cristina in that version. Instead, he is single and is seen wearing the same outfit as the Mortal Kombat 1 reboot Johnny Cage.
I love the narrative decision to have Sonya be the one to eff up her marriage. It fits her character to be work obsessed, developed Johnny as a loving father, and makes Cassie joining SF a desperate attempt to become part of the thing her mom chose over her family.
And by the end of it Sonya did see what was more important which was her family and both her & Johnny did still have feelings for each other so the family was able to reunite again until Dark Raiden messed it up

Cassie was right: Sonya really DID rub off on Johnny.

Their love story has to be manipulated over the belonged insurance that the documentary's stamp had to be more than an ideal movie's percentage, they might be a very amicable pair of bondage, but it needs to be taken not a whole documentary, but a quality collection of full-packed triumphs of theirs in order to fully recognize what makes these two's stringent ensemble gradually special, that chart would be a really helpful guidance to assist for those proceeds as well.

As narcissistic as Cage is, he does care for those close to him. There is indeed a hero buried under that Hollywood glamor. Even when he saw that he has to disappoint those around him, he knows it's something he needs to do. He can see rock bottom coming, and he chooses to meet it head on. But he also sees that he might lose someone, so he changes that. This is how you write a character. Johnny is flawed but engaging and fun as a character.
