  • We are upgrading the wheels on our Kawasaki KLX110 in this video from Partzilla.com!
    This KLX110 is being converted into a pit bike, so it’s going to carry a lot more weight when we get an adult rider on it.
    In this video, we’ll show you how to lace and true the wheels on your dirt bike when we install a brand new set of wheels and tires. We’re going with Takasago rims and Dunlop tires that will give this bike a more robust footing when we’re done.
    We’ll start by breaking down the old rear wheel, then we’re going to replace a couple of worn bearings and get to lacing the wheels on this motorcycle. When we’re done, we’ll install a new Dunlop tire. Then, we’ll repeat the entire process on the front wheel.

    I have just one question. Why not use a universal tire (pavement and dirt) if available? And thx for sharing.

      In prior videos he said it will be a stock/slightly modded class pit bike racer. Most all pit bike racing is on dirt so I’m sure that’s his reasoning. It would be mine.

      @@foxracing16 That's right. When we're all done for this, it will be a pit bike built for a larger-- not kid-sized-- rider exclusively on dirt. We're going to get after the front fork next, which is another spot where we'll need to do some beefing up for this to work
