M&M'S Easter Sugar Cookies

Sure to please any Easter crowd, these sugar cookie nests are soft, chewy and irresistible!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes (+ 30 minutes standing time)
Makes: 12 servings
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp milk
1/3 cup confetti sprinkles
36 M&M’s Milk Chocolate Speckled Eggs
Instructions:
1. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Using electric mixer, beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg; beat in vanilla.
2. Mix in flour mixture, alternating with milk, until fully incorporated. Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 350F. Divide dough into 12 portions; roll each portion into ball. Place sprinkles in small bowl; roll each dough ball in sprinkles. Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Do not flatten.
4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden at edges. Press 3 M&M’s Milk Chocolate Speckled Eggs into each cookie while still warm. Let cool completely on rack.
Tip: Substitute pastel-colored decorating sugar for confetti sprinkles if desired.
