It's only the same scene from Hero Academia. They each get stabbed in the left side of the torso, have a short amount of time left, and make a desperate last stand to defend the next generation.
I can already imagine Reinhardt as a genuine pro hero in BNHA. The #1 armor clad protector that takes blows like no other! The impenetrable wall! The unbreakable shield! The defender that stands tall even when times are dark, when his armor is dented and dull, when all seems lost. In the darkest moments, Reinhardt's voice will echo through the darkness with a resonating roar of excitement and bravery, lighting his LEDs and eternal flames on his hammer to show that you do not need a quirk to be a hero- -Just an unwavering spirit and indestructible will. The Armor is made for protecting the individual, it can be reforged. The Shield is made for protecting the masses, it can be recharged. But the Hammer.. The Hammer is made for protecting the ideals. To meet your opponent with such strength and fury that not just their bodies but their *souls* will give out. To be a symbol and the protector of justice- of consequence. The Hammer is the physical embodiment of _"do it. I dare you."_ and all who do wrong shall fear the War Maul that will come for them.
This even improves the emotional weight of the short as well, turning his death into an incredible act of heroism instead of attempting to go for cheap feels with slow emotional music.
what he means is the original goes for a normal, slow, emotional music to say "oh no, hes dying!" but here, it gives much more meaning to their code. 'live with honour, die with glory!'. here, his death was more energetic, he lived fighting until the end. its not about the emotion for rein, its about him fighting at that section, and its an improvement, i think anyway
His death is an act of heroism but the only reason it was necessary was because of Reinhardt's folly. The original music highlights the sorrow and regret of Reinhardt's past and how it cost him his best friend. The somber tone reflects on his newfound resolve to be the best he can be and that he will fight to the last breath and die to protect those he cares about because it's the only way he can redeem himself after this act.
I have nothing but praise. The synching is godamn perfect at 0:37. Fading out the song at 2:42 was very much needed and blended perfectly. And then it explodes at 4:05. Gave me the chills! 5:35 was the cherry on the cake.

That was on purpose. I looped a small section of the song, specifically the 'flashback' section while they were talking, buT at a lower volume to reflect the gravity of what Balderich was saying, and the fact that the real battle was happening outside. When the moment ends, and the omnics burst in, the battle comes with them, along with the music.
God damn it this made me cry how dare you make a animation that already was touching enough tug at my heart strings even more I mean damn with the music it just made the feels that much stronger it got me so emotional bravo sir I applaud you and look forward to your next video :')
