Kobe didn't just want to be like Jordon, Kobe wanted to be the best to ever play the game. and he thought that learning from Jordon would help him become that. and training relentlessly would make him even better than Jordon ever was. and I do think that Kobe at his best was maybe even better than Jordon. like in the playoffs when the Lakers swept a very good Spurs team. Kobe was just amazing, and winning two titles with Gasol who wasn't at the level of a Scottie Pippin. Personally I think Kobe and Jordon were both amazing and I can't really put one above the other. every great player is great because of the players that came before them. and that is why basketball players of today are better than basketball players of the past. but I wish the game could somehow figure out a way to make the two point jump shot relevant again. and I think some of the old way of playing and rules were better. now its all cut to the basket and dish out to the three point shooter. Go Lakers

I AM JUST A SIMPLE PERSON. I SAW MJ AND KOBE'S NAMES (MY NO.1 AND NO.2 PLAYERS OF ALL TIME) I CLICK AND WATCH AND SMILED AND HAD TEARY EYES REMEMBERING THE LATE KOBE.... GOD I MISS THE MAN SO MUCH! A QUOTE OF HIM HELPED ME SO MUCH IN OVERCOMING ONE OF THE GREATEST TRIALS OF MY LIFE.
