I used to tell ppl that at the height of the kobe/lbj debates. love bron but every time he touches the ball he has a few screens. kobe rarely, if ever, used them. imagine him in today's game where everybody automatically switches. he's taking point guards to the post and dominating them down there. or he's cooking forwards/centers with ease. 40ppg in his sleep in the modern nba. Plus everything's a foul and he's a 85% ft shooter. maybe 45ppg. if booker could make noise in this league and he's only a dollar tree version of mamba, imagine the real deal.

The most skilled footwork and moves ever seen on a basketball court in history. KOBE was a real life video game. He would make the most incredibly ridiculously difficult shots so routinely it was literally incredible to watch for 20 years. His body control and coordination is off the charts. Every move is so precise. Rest in Paradise Black Mamba I still can’t believe you’re gone....but never forgotten. The Lakers won the Championship for you this year and I’m sure we’ll be putting a statue of you up in front of Staples Center very soon.

Troy Hough Kobe had more moves. MJ could use less moves cause he was more athletic. Even as he gotten older in the late 90s as his athleticism declined a little MJ still had higher elevation on his midrange jumper & operated more in the midpost & low post & had the strength to just shoot over the top of defenders without using different variation of moves in the post cause MJ was much more stronger than Kobe. Kobe operated at the post, elbows & below the 3 point line where the above the arc circle area is.Kobe just had more of an Arsenal & more counters

Bean was one of those basket ballers like the greats that made you look forward to watching the game. Skill wise, he was one of the best if not the best. Obviously he was a great shooter but we don't give him much credit for how much of a fundamental type of player he was. What I mean by that is; when you watch him play you can literally see his basketball IQ and love for the game coming through. He studied the game so much that it became natural for him to play so beautifully most nights. Little to no basketball players really play the game like this anymore, especially with the footworks. Then to add to all of that he had serious determination that pulled him through a.k.a Mamba Mentality. That's why he is my favourite basketball player, a real O.G type of player. Miss you bean🖤🙏

The play at 7:48 shows why he is the most skilled basketball player in NBA history. The amount of different moves and skills is insane. Just little touches like how after he dribbled behind his back with his left hand, he had the presence of mind to turn his body to the defender while executing one dribble with the right, turning again towards his right shoulder (towards the baseline) while switching the dribble to his left, driving baseline, then doing a full 360 and making an easy layup while falling AWAY from the basket.

He is awesome and I love him as a player but I hope emotions aren't getting the best of us. You do know he admitted through his own mouth to xeroxing his game after Jordan. He's great but the student didn't overcome the Master with the exception of longevity stats. No doubt, but Kobe is better than Lebron who will pass all the greats due to longevity stats.
