so inspiring - makes me realize that I try too hard too often - I also noticed how late your non dominant arm opens up on the forehand, but you still get a ton of power in your strokes. Will have to change that too on mine. Great!
Thank you, and yes, great catch…my left arm stays in place a bit longer which helps hit a cleaner ball…kind of like some people keep their chin/eye on the ball after contact (Federer style), but that can be awkward for a lot of players, so the non dominant arm can be a good replacement for that 👍 thanks for commenting 👊
@@tennisviking Thanks for pointing out the Federer style thing which I have ben eying as well :)) Makes sense for players like me since I have a OHBH. There is less rotation involved than on the two hander, so it's easier to keep glazing at the contact point.
i would love to see more video on minitennis, ground strokes rallies patterns and depth. I’m messing up my footwork on center to center baseline loa-mid height shots, i tend to do neutral stance on these but sometimes i go semi open and the contact point and timing is wrong. i like the simple but efficient movements and strokes of the coach in the red pull!
Would be interesting to see you walk viewers through a two-player practice, from warm-up to hitting to drills to practice points...some kind of structured practice, defining their purpose/value, that say 4.0+ players can replicate.
Mine is straight (continental) similar to Murray and Kyrgios. And yes, the left hand is dominant in my two-hander since I’m right handed👍 a simple. It very good way to work this is to do left handed forehands against a wall, to train that left wrist to be more independent. Hope this helps.
@@tennisviking .....thanks TV... I'm a long time one hander on the bh including a very heavy bh slice. But both yourself and your hitting partner have very smooth motions on the 2 hander.I was always an admirer of David Nalbandians two hander but ended up with something a bit more Gasquet-esque.....have a great day and thanks again.
@@kevingilhooley2064 Nice, I wish I had a smooth oney, it just feel better on the body, but never got a hang of it…maybe I’ll try a video on that one day 🫣Nalbandian is such a beast, loved his forehand, and overall efficient game, when he was on it was lights out 💪💪💪
Nice video, I am fortunate to have a good hitting partner , we do this for an hour and then play a set. It is nice to have time to get in the groove, unlike doubles matches where guys like to warm up for five minutes and start playing, they don't like to waste energy.
i can only dream to have a hitting session like that. my hitting partners just drill the ball in the corners after 3 shots. i'd yell at them, but most of the time it's unintentional!
There is so much to learn from this video! Here I feel you really get a look at how the elite is training and it make so much sense!
Really good technical warm up!
Thank you 👊
Dette er en af dine bedste videoer! Mere af denne type videoer tak. Matcher også mellem dine spillere og træner.
Takker 👊 og go feedback 👌🎾👍
@@tennisviking Nej problem. Du kan også promovere tennis i Jylland -regionen, især for KlubLigaerne.
Looks so easy
🙏 thanks…definitely easier with a good hitting partner 👍

@@joelintl2226 wish I had a solid oney 😎👍
nice hitting! would love to see some play with older rackets maybe, 85sq, wood. it"s always fun and interesting.
That would be a fun video with a lot of Alice and chips old school style 👍💪🎾And I got a lot of older sticks laying around 👌👌

Awesome!!!

Just wondered what grip you are both using on the 2H backhand....a lot of left hand?

That’s fantastic 👍 having just that one practice partner makes such a big difference 🎾💪
Nice content
Thank you 👊
i would like a video on your top 5 strings thx
Good idea. Coming soon. Just got a couple projects first in the list 👍

Do some hitting against a wall before if possible. The wall is so underrated these days 👍
