Just saw him in Toronto with the Dropkick Murphys. He went on, set up, played, and tore down his set all by himself... and it was absolutely amazing. AND he and one other person were running his merch stand! I ran up and bought a shirt and 2 CDs and thanked him for an amazing performance and he was an all around great guy! It was easily one of the best performances I've seen in a very long time; his energy, his connections with the audience, the amazing music, and the fact that he was an awesome guy after the show all made for an amazing experience!

Amigo is one of the most influential artists in my life right now, Not in a weird creepy way lol.. but the fact I feel true expression through the musick and its that expression that is enough to move me and make my purpose of the day truly passionate. .. I've laughed, I've cried and I've danced to this mans tracks .. . What else would ever need to be said.
Thank you for your beautiful and painful musick.. I've loved & lost to your songs and it's these songs that got me through it.

In a way, it's good that he's underrated, bc small artists like him with a fanbase that's not too big or small allows him to be able to get closer with his fans, being able to do things like take selfies with him and talk a bit after the show without the need for backstage passes or deluxe $350 tickets.
