Seeing as how the Demonweb Pit is such a soul crushing plane, I can’t tell whether any Drow would consider it a blessing to walk amongst it’s sticky strands of doom. Almost all Drow wish to be so close to their deity, but seeing as how Lolth treats her own subjects so harshly I can’t imagine how long your basic Drow would last down there. Dressing in arachnid motifs and sacrificing hapless innocents can only carry so much weight in the Demonweb Pits, it sure as hell won’t stop stray monstrosities from preying on a unsuspecting Drow.
Drow are rarely completely at ease, some find the plane close to comfortable, they don't mind spiders crawling over them and having webs all over their body, others, not so much. One drow felt like the entire plane was seeking to cocoon them in webs, down to the very air being filled with invisible strands of web that were coating the lungs.

You talk about the chromatic dragon devils
All the spidery things leading to the Queen herself! 😊🤓🕷
So Oogershek is the name of the disgusting portal in the Demonweb Pits; And it is also the name of this Drayden that lets Lolth dig around in its brain for forgotten memories? In exchange for letting it know if she finds where the other Drayden are located? If I got any of that wrong, please clarify. This one was kinda hard to follow.
Sounds like you got it.
@@AJPickett Ok cool. My brain was trying hard to wrap itself around the concept.
As a fan of horror, I could use and abuse a dark and scary setting like this one.
My poor players (Evil Smile Intensifying).....
Tell me oh lord of the nuts, what do you know of were-squirrels?
@@AJPickett Were-squirrels?! That sounds like fun.
@@LokiFar
Yes, Yes, Killer squirrels.
I remember a comedy game where you play as Chitulu who was forced to become an Adventurer to save the world. I remember the swarm of undead murder squirrels was one of the tougher early game fights.
@@AJPickett I think you've just gave me enough ideas for a good home-brew for a group of hired hit-men for an evil Druid villain. Thank you very much!
Thanks AJ.
Awesome job per normal AJ, keep up the great work😊
Your next video should talk about the Belly of death Thanatos
Beautiful video! As always I should say. Can you do a video on Ghaunadaur? I would like to know more about this sneaky god
Thanks.
Wonderful, you uploaded right on time! 🤙🤙🤙
Right in time while I was looking into this one for a new campaign.
i thought of a cool video for you to make. spells from early dnd that are now possible in reality because of technology. i thought of this watching an fpv drone and that flying eyeball spell. the self aiming rifle is kind of like magic missile fireworks and leds are catnip dancing lights. stuff like that.
Hmmm, like Sending!
Just in time for my PCs to meet a metric ton of Dark Elves and other lovely things. This series(? I suppose) is carrying the entire first 1/2 or so of the campaign. The 2nd Bit is Mind Flayers. Or Vecna, not too sure yet.
The Abyss is okay, the B&B's aren't the greatest but if you can block out the screams of the damned its easily 7/10
I don't know what that was in my latte.. but it wasn't milk.
The only thing on the TV was Cats, for some reason...
oh snap i have been waiting for this one chief
Absolutely amazing. I wish they would make a 3.5 or pathfinder remaster of the mega module and the demonweb pits into an epic level 20+ sandbox adventure.
Can't stand 5e personally, but if it was ever remade they would do it in 5e sadly.
Thank you so much for the read!
Love this channel
Wow, great video!
Ave amicus!
Made me want to go back and read the war or the spider queen again!noice
A interesting video would be about some tanarri demonlords who oppose the obyriths, ive not seen any lore to cover said group..wonder as they are individually weaker if they fight their chaotic nature and band together...also do they eventually gain their own individual form once they own a layer/gain power..
That is essential to the concept of the tanar'ri as the revolted and overthrew the obyrith
@@AJPickett ahh was wondering if it was like pathfinder that has actual demon lords but are essentially just op balor.
@@AJPickett Sorry ive another nerdy question, with the beta release of wrath of the rightous was curious if DandD had any demon lords who are greater balors similar too Khorramzadeh. Curious if any notworthy tanar'ri who are on par with the obyrith.
Wait, Ghaunadaur is an aspect of Tharizdun? I read somewhere that Juiblex is an aspect of Ghaunadaur. So the mad god is less chained that I thought. Dude gets around.
i love this kind of lore thanks a lot!
Praise the Elder Eye. My favorite god in FR
Minor thing to add: I love Hackmaster's take on Lolth's fall. That there were 2 races of elves that turned on the Seldarine. The elves who ran undergroung and became the drow, and the ones that stayed above to continue the fight called the barbaric Grel, or Grunge Elves.
AJ, random question I've been meaning to ask you, have you ever done a video about the Girallon?
Not yet
@@AJPickett YET!

What is a Bibbeleth and where can I learn more?
Aj has another video on the Bebileth and Pale Night, very good watch
I played every one of the original modules ending in q1. If i recall there were 11 connected maybe more and it was a blast. I hate spiders lol
Does Lolth have a presence in Chitinspace, the Crystal Sphere inhabited by only insectoid creatures? And if so, how is she viewed there?
I have no idea.
@@AJPickett Chitinspace: *Exists*
Lolth: "It's Free Real Estate."
The mind of the trapped tharizdun was shattered into many fragments, hence becoming the ‘mad god.’ When his mind was shattered and he was sealed away, Some of those fragments were left to wander the multiverse as unknowing aspects because their identity is locked up in the cosmic slammer.
@@kadoj That has nothing to do neither the main comment nor either of the two replies. In other words,
Whatcha on about?
@@Im-Not-a-Dog oh shite. my bad lol I guess I somehow replied to the wrong comment, whoopsie. I was very tired...
