Love seeing your well-loved books. Great tag!
@@literarylove123 thanks, Jen! It was a fun one. My teaching copies are precious to me even though they’re mostly falling apart now! 😊
_Hurrah!_ I finally got the chance to tag _YOU!_ Thx for doing it, Pat. Loved your answers and your physical examples.
Thank you for tagging me, Allen! This was a really fun one to do! 😊
Those teaching copies are lovely Pat. Every crinkly spine, loose page, and scribbled note commemorating a life spent doing work you loved and that gave you so much in return. Great responses, as always!
Thank you, Patricia! They really are very special to me. I can’t part with them even though some of them are almost unusable now. 😊
The teaching copies are so much fun! Thanks for the tag.
Thanks, Melissa. I guess they are sort of like historical artifacts at this point. I treasure them. 😊
Excellent points about the spine 👍 Agreed Greg definitely has an amazing collection. Hamlet, enjoyed the story and yes to books with memories 💕 LOL Noah is screaming 😱 great job Pat 🥰👍 Nice to see so many having fun with this.
@@Cobaltdragon hi Elaine! It was such fun! Thank you again for tagging me! Noah actually has ruled that I am NOT a book murderer. Phew! 😅
@@BookChatWithPat8668 loved your facial expressions with some of the responses, great touch. LOL yes I see Noah is playing favourites and changing the rules. hehehe taking advantage of the Judge Noah role, LOL
Very neat Tag Pat. I will add this one to my list for sure. Thanks for the Tag. Have a great Wednesday!
@@kevintowle9665 you too, Kevin! This was a fun one to do. I’ve got quite a backlog of tags, too. Please don’t feel any pressure from me. 😊
This was a fun tag. When I was a bookseller, we had to return some Oxford World Classics as they were reusing them with new covers. We only had to tear out the title page to send back, so staff were allowed to keep the rest and I had so many at one time! I realised a few years back that I was never going to read all of them so unhauled quite a few!
@@spreadbookjoy oh wow. That’s so interesting, Jack. I’m learning so much about how bookselling works. How wonderful that you were able to get so many unsold books! 😊
This is a fun tag. I loved seeing your teaching books, such a lot of history and memories in them 😊
Thanks, Debs! I can’t part with those books, even if they’re mostly all falling apart. 😊
I love your thumbnail. Thanks for tagging me. I will do this soon. I expect many of my answers will be the same as yours
@@stuartgriffin1001 hi Stuart! This was a fun, short tag! No pressure from me, ever, but I always enjoy whatever you come up with! 😊
These tag responses are so much fun!
I had a lot of fun with this one! 😊
Great tag! 😊 I love a good bookmark, but I like the idea of using cards as bookmarks too. They tend to be forgotten otherwise, and how nice to open your book and be reminded of someone that thought of you for whatever reason or occasion. Great way to use them!
I think I will skip this tag, as it was kind of similar to the It’s not that bad tag that I did recently, and I need to prioritize 😅 But thank you for tagging me! I enjoyed hearing your responses!
Thanks, Ellen. Yes, it is similar to that one. No worries. Please don’t ever feel any pressure from me. 😊
@@BookChatWithPat8668 I never do! 😊
@@ellenmadebookclub I have such a backlog of tags too. I feel as though I’ll never be caught up, but sometimes I try to do a tag if I’ve been tagged by someone who has never tagged me before. And I try to tag my old faithful as well as newer people to spread the joy. There actually is a method to my madness, as they say. 🥰
@@BookChatWithPat8668 Of course there is! That’s a great strategy! 😄
🥰
This tapped into all my book OCD’s😂
@@Ali-AvidReader oh no!!! I’m sorry!
@@BookChatWithPat8668 You’re forgiven😉
I would rather just return the whole book, intact, to the publisher rather than being asked to tear off and return the cover. Obviously an industry thing, or was. Our UK paperbacks can be tightly bound so easy to break the spine, unfortunately. I have been known to dog-ear but only in my own books and only rarely! Nice tag. Thank you, Pat.
Hi Helen. Yes, I never knew or understood that that was an industry practice. Strange. I think it’s only recently that I’ve made this concerted effort not to break spines. Sometimes it’s super hard to avoid. Hope you’re doing well. 😊
Hello friend!
Thank you so much for joining in on the tag!
fantastic answers my friend and I love your much loved books tbh.
You have been dubbed 👨🏼⚖NOT BOOK MURDERER 👨🏼⚖
as the judge I say when it comes to teaching - its fine, it makes sense, and I did have a heart attack though (jk jk) lol
@@BookWyrm1060 Hi Noah! Glad you enjoyed. This was really fun! 😊
@BookWyrm1060. oooh playing favourites and changing the rules I see. I see how it is, lol.
@@Cobaltdragon noooo I love you toooooo lol you book murderer 😆 🤣
@@BookWyrm1060 🤣🤣🤣love you too judge.
Hi Pat great video, I really need to get back to posting videos, thinking a Friday reads.
@@chrisreadingcorner3816 Chris!!! I have missed you! I actually just the other day went over to your channel to see if maybe I had missed something that you had posted while I was away in Ireland or when I was sick afterwards. It’s so nice to see you again! I hope you’re doing well! 😊
