I'm not sure how you can put cars like these on the streets with prepping and call it "street racing." You would see none of these cars on the streets just cruising around the neighborhood. If you got to put your car in a trailer and take it to a spot to race, then its not street racing. I love the Street Outlaw show and watch it religiously, but lets just call it what is and not "street racing".

4TheLuvOfNitrous Back in my days, I had a sleeper 1987 Mazda RX7 turbo that did the 1/4 mile in a tad over 10 seconds. Not the fastest, but we use to find strips of road to race and just race to a spot. We didn't measure out a 1/4 or an 1/8 mile. First one to that street light or that light post. Or past that car parked on the side wins. To me, thats the type of street racing I'm accustomed to. Maybe its just passed me by and thats what street racing is today.
