December of 2019, CK Sussman and two others were invited inside the 170-year-old Hotel Jeffery in Coulterville California to film a documentary. While inside, they had a paranormal encounter that nearly destroyed a canon movie camera. The Hotel Jeffery is listed as one of the most haunted places in the U.S..
Inside this documentary they toured The Teddy room, named after a regular Hotel Jeffery guest, President Teddy Roosevelt, all three floors, and, The Magnolia Saloon.
In 2015 The Magnolia was the oldest operating saloon in California. Guests of the The Hotel Jeffery and Magnolia Saloon included Jessie and Frank James, Black Bart, WC Fields, Queen Elizabeth, Helen Keller, Ralph Waldo Emerson, John Muir, and Author Mark Twain (Samual Clemens).
This Historic hotel and saloon are in danger of being torn down. We have made it our personal crusade to do anything it takes to get to those who can to help save this piece of US history!

This video was pieced together from an original 3 segments. When I toured the hotel, Peter, (the former owner) and Mark (a fine cowboy actor from the Coulterville area) were by me most of the time. When I was alone in one of the back rooms, something unbolted my camera from the gimbal. If that wasn't the case, I would have felt the camera loosen before it fell, AND you would have seen the camera shot wiggle in some way. None of that happened. Now, this next part aged me ten years!!! When I returned to the Wildomar Movie Ranch studio, I didn't start editing the film for about a month. I edited the first segment, it ended with a Teddy moment, and I felt very good about the way it was produced, "Infotainment". A couple of months later I began on part two, Note, very little of part two is in here. In this segment we toured a prop room and a back area. This was more of all of us having fun, BUT something didn't find it too amusing! The ranch is built on an 1800's cemetery. And there's been some weird things happen, but nothing like I am about to tell you. I'd been working on part two, in fact using some special effects just to lighten the moment. I finished editing for the night, so I was uploading that segment to Vimeo. This is a 40-channel track recording studio. With a large sound isolation booth, and full piano and a few keyboards. It's about 20 feet long. I left the computer on as it was still uploading, shut all the lights, walked from the studio into the hallway, and as my foot hit the hall, a huge crash came from inside the studio. This was not the crash of something falling, this has an "IMPACT" sound!! I did not return right away; I called my business partner. Told her what I just heard, and she told me to go back in, while taking pictures. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FLIPPING MIND". ;^O Well, I composed myself, frankly, expecting to see nothing, as in the past when something was heard in here, nothing had ever happened.
Not in this case! The camera that was in the hotel, for at least a month, was mounted on a tripod, and the tripod was hooked into rolling legs, the wheels were locked and it was in the far corner of the recording studio. Not when I came back in. The camera, still on the tripod, and still hooked into the rolling wheels, but now had traveled nearly 20 ft, and it was on its side about a foot from the editing area. I flipped out when I saw this! I started yelling at nothing in the room demanding it show itself. (looking back, maybe not a good idea). Anyway, during this time I was taking pictures everywhere. I left the tripod exactly where it was, until there were some people here, and I left. In the morning I called actor David Dossett, a regular on Sons of Anarchy. I told David what happened, as he did a short stint on Ghost Hunters. He came right over, as I told him I took pictures, and I wasn't about to view by myself. Remember, this is now a PO'd spirit! David went through about 60 pictures. I kind of looked, but not really. David yelled; THERE IT IS!!! OK, I guess I'm not the ghost hunter type, mainly because it's my studio, and when everyone goes home, guess who is left, me! (lol). David showed the picture to my business partner, who confirmed his findings. Whatever it was, it was seen in a picture of Bora Bora that hangs near the ceiling of the studio. They advised me not to look at what was in the picture, but I didn't intend too anyway. I asked David to delete the PNG and the RAW file, as I didn't want it embedded in my camera. In that kitchen it has a propane tank to start the stove couple years ago half a section of it burned i hope it opens again i want to go back
Last time I went by there I took some pictures from outside from the front and east side and I got some figures and faces scary faces looking out the windows one looks like a lady clear face white dress on the 2nd and 3 floor a month ago
I would love to get those pictures posted. We are trying to save this hotel, but the owner shows very little interest in saving it, although this is a piece of U.S. history that is irreplaceable.

Any info on who bought the Hotel back in June and what are the intensions??
Hi Tony. When we were trying to save the hotel we couldn't get the time of day from the owner or her representative. We finally threw in the towel. @@CKSussman All I know is that it was Sold for under $500,000. I tried searching the county records but, it the owner was hidden. Still looking for info.
