Great job on a super tough course. Maybe next, try this again with a mid... possibly the AB Roc? I think with a little more distance, you may shoot even better than +7. Thanks for the video!
For my channel (MTB just now) When my mic (actually a digital memo recorder) was acting up I remembered I was carrying a spare.... MY CELL PHONE. Works better if you have an upper pocket or roll it up in your left sleeve. Better than a camera mic at long distance...
This course looks easy compared to the course I learned on . The fairways are skinny, but they are wide open. The course I learned on there is tons on natural obstacles, basically like playing in the woods most the time with no open fairway. Great in summer lots of shade , but trying to shoot 200ft + without hitting a tree can be frustrating 😁. I was expecting a harder course after seeing that sign in the beginning. I also have a judge (Fluid) it's a great disc I want to get another in a different plastic like the Lucid
I am a 70 year old rookie who bought six identical putters -- Judges -- so I could practice basic form. Basically, I throw that disc mold about a hundred times a day, in a field, between targets 100 feet apart. It gets me outdoors, walking and bending over a lot, and it feels fine to see improvement over time. Thanks, Trevor, for showing me that I could play a real course respectably. (Actually, a 900 foot hole would take me about 9 throws.)
One of my favorite videos so far 💙💚 Impressive shots and I love to watch the controlled putter flight, it’s just so pure 🤩🤩 I noticed similar results in my game but I need a fairway driver to reach 300 feet, so therefore my minimalized bag would be for example a CRAVE and a P2.
Great video Trevor! I putt with the judge, but throw the pure and harp. Maybe try a three disc round at New London. You can pick one putter, one midrange, and one fairway from your bag that are likely to give you the best chance of scoring. It would be interesting to see what you pick and why, and whether you would actually shoot lower than the judge only round.
I enjoy your videos. I just started playing and have no distance. One thing I discovered (based on someones suggestion) is that the putter is the easiest disk to throw and I have no doubt that if I played only with the putter I would probably have my best round because all my throws would be more on target. But i will for the time being keep trying to learn to control my driver and midrange disc. I guess that's part of the challenge.
Love the video! I think a fun idea would be for you to create two "bags" for yourself to play with. Play alongside/against each other and keep score for each. The bags could have interesting traits distinguishing themselves (i.e., overstable vs understable, mids vs putters off the tee, manufacturer vs manufacturer, etc.)
You should do another round with just a fairway and a putter. I think having a limited set of choices forces you to get in tune with the discs you have instead of bringing out a new disc every shot. Forces tou to really dial in.
Trevor I really enjoyed this course vlog style especially where your trying a new disc or just one particular disc like this video with a putter. With that said it would be neat to see you do a midrange or a fairway driver disc round. Again love this type of video content keep up the hard work!
Been playing a year, and really feel this vid, I throw one disc all the time now, probably 100 disc plus in my basement, the error from shot to shot on a full bag, plus the better throws with one disc I throw best with, more than offset any benefit from a full bag, for me only other people may benefit form a full bag :)
My best rounds are putter only. I use the innova invader and it's nasty. Plus it seems all my discs go about the same distance anyways. Sometimes my drivers go an extra 50ft lol
I enjoyed th9s course rpund and how you talked through the strategy for only using one disc. I think the concept for this video was good, but driving home the simplified bag approach would be very valuable to your viewers. Think about what you would change with two discs, or maybe three. Maybe doing the exact same round with three discs, then again with five, emphasizing what new tools are that you have been provided with the expanded disc set. In that, discuss the key shortcomings of the Judge-only bag, then which two additional discs you will be selecting for the next round. Then, conclude by doing one more iteration moving from three to five discs. I believe you may reevaluate your entire game after the three rounds, and also become a better overall player.
You guys should really come to the Peoria IL area and play the courses in the area -Eureka Temp. and Northwoods Black, Northwoods Blue, Mc Naughton, Megiddo.
Interesting! I remember last year when Konner started his break 86, I made a comment that if he just throws a putter every shot and keeps it in the middle he'd hit 76. I think playing every tough course with a putter only might be a good way to break things down and focus on doing what you need to do and not trying to be superman.
The putt was ON! Trevor, in this edit, you didn’t mention your putting until 18. Though it may bring some good content to the foundation channel, if you really want to get better at putting maybe stop the self doubt narrative. Really liking your channel. Your editing is on point!!!
Love this style of video, I think if you had an Envy or Zone coupled with the Judge youd have all the shots you need. I thought that Judge seems a little less stable than normal from the first tee shot
Have shot the best rounds of my life with a prime judge only!! Come to same conclusions of why do I throw and carry all these other discs???? Good round big Trev!!
You should add one disc to the judge and see if you improve. Add like a stable fairway or approach. Fill one hole in your game at a time and see what number of discs is your peak. I think if you had an overstable distance driver, neutral fairway, stable mid, and an overstable approach you’d peak
On my local I shout an average of Par... maybe stretching to a +1. My best equal... is -4 I did that on a Pig only round including a Par 5 on an uphill 750 ft run. I have trouble paring that on a good day. (I've Birdied it twice... once with 101ft putt with said pig. (By putt I mean Anhyzer over my left shoulder with my left arm up like a sword play (Touché) (Forgot to mention my home course is a 10 hole par 3 (except the above par5) Berhampore Wellington New Zealand. I have birdied all 10... maybe one day I'll string them all together...)
Such an important discipline to just throw putters. I would be interested to know what happens to your game after a week or two of putters only on any given course. Then to take your bag back out. My guess is that you would score better. You are really working that one disc on a lot of different angles.
I’d like to see 3 more rounds. In each round, add one disc. First add a midrange…then add a fairway…then add a distance driver. I wonder if you hit a point of diminishing return, and decisions causing uncertainty.
I'd still use a premium putter for driving, and if I had to only use one disc I'd still stick to only the premium one... :S Now time to watch it all after my take from the first 2 minutes :P

I was thinking break 80 would be a decent goal so nice work. Not that far from Hunter’s best break 68 challenge score 😅

Course vlog style is a really good format for the future. Great video, well done.
hunter legit should have done 2 disc rounds with an md3 and a putter and see where that would have taken him for break 68
This is the content we're looking for!!!
“I’m going to pretend that didn’t happen and keep throwing 30 different discs”
So relatable
Man!! You throw a judge like nobody’s business. That was awsome to watch. Appreciate the content.

I always enjoy Mondays due to these videos... keep it up Trevor!!!!!
Love this!! I have always thought the judge is such a great disc my eMac often goes 30 less than my fairways but the control makes up for the distance
Loved this one Travis also you're buttery with the Judge
Man I love your content, fav disc golf UA-cam to watch
I have been wanting to try this as well! Great video
Round playthroughs are my favorite form of dg content keep it up

Awesome score!! Proud of ya Trevor!
Very respectable round. Thanks for the content
Judge supremacy! Great video and great round Trevor 😄
Would love to see a putter only round @ Independence, especially if you are planning a “break __” series there next year
Anyone know what brand his hoodie is? It looks really comfy

Bro that is so good. Fun to watch
I appreciate this, and I completely understand your thoughts at the end.
Very nice round. Some very good shots to behold in this round!
Great score!! Thanks for signing my disc when I stopped in at The Foundation store 2 Fridays ago 😊. ( guy from SD )

Awesome video Trev!
Hey Trevor. I’ve been thinking the same, to do a couple rounds with my putter. As a confidence booster.
Nicely done. Lots of lessons there.
Really enjoy this channel!
I feel exactly the same way about my Judge. It's a classic moonshine, and it's magical
That was awesome!! Nice round!!
Never interested in putter only round until your video. Thank for sharing 🤙
Great score
Good choice on the disc
Have you played Waid Park yet? In some ways I could see it being tougher than NL Tech.
My best rounds are putter only. I use the innova invader and it's nasty. Plus it seems all my discs go about the same distance anyways. Sometimes my drivers go an extra 50ft lol

You should do the same thing at NE with a mid. Great videos man, keep it up 👍
What are you using to edit these vids 👀
Doubles round with yourself would be a cool video just explaining the strategy of aggressive and safe shots
I'm going to have to try the same thing at my local bruiser.
Love it!
That a way Trevor are you excited about your 24 hr live stream
Where do you get that sweatshirt? What’s it called?
You guys should really come to the Peoria IL area and play the courses in the area -Eureka Temp. and Northwoods Black, Northwoods Blue, Mc Naughton, Megiddo.
How does the judge fly in the Supreme plastic?
Liked the video!! You just need one disc!
OH TREVOR YOU SO CRAZY
You played so good yet you don’t seem that excited about it! Nice job Trev! I think that’s better than if you used your whole bag.
I would have died laughing so hard if you broke 68 in this video LOL
Love the limited disc rounds. Would like to see a two putter and two midrange round. Just a couple more options and distance.
Try the same with just a Neutral Mid and the Judge. I'd be interested to see how that goes!
I know this is the wrong channel but this makes me want more break 68 with hunter. I think he can do it!
Haven't watched yet, but I'm a little afraid that it won't hurt his score that much.
Those forehand turnover shots with a judge were pretty impressive.
Well done.
👍🏼 now you could play the round with the putter and one mid range, to see if you can beat the 75
That's a pretty good round there Trevor, nice one. Why not try a round with 3 discs, fairway, mid and putter.

Relatable 😄
If only you had a cool hybrid judge that you could add to your bag, some give for winter weather but still has some stability

Have shot the best rounds of my life with a prime judge only!! Come to same conclusions of why do I throw and carry all these other discs???? Good round big Trev!!
I feel that way when I throw just a mid round on my coarses I either get my best coarse score or close to my score of throwing my whole bag
For 2024, I would like to see Trevor vs Hunter on this course. Trevor uses just the Judge and Hunter uses his bag.
You should add one disc to the judge and see if you improve. Add like a stable fairway or approach. Fill one hole in your game at a time and see what number of discs is your peak. I think if you had an overstable distance driver, neutral fairway, stable mid, and an overstable approach you’d peak
Existential crisis! 😂😂😂
You should do your favorite mid w/putter
Do a midrange only, fairway only and distance driver only round too
On my local I shout an average of Par... maybe stretching to a +1.
My best equal... is -4
I did that on a Pig only round including a Par 5 on an uphill 750 ft run. I have trouble paring that on a good day. (I've Birdied it twice... once with 101ft putt with said pig.

That disc for me is a sol. It just feels right
How do you think that Konner will feel that you got a 75 with just a putter?
Thanks for the spoiler
@@NorfarPS3dawg you’re the one who read comments before watching, not their fault *shrug*

I want you to trie to break 68 on new London with your whole bag. Think you can do it!
Is that your best score
Did you forget your mini marker? 🤓🤓🤓
and fun... i think.

Before watching, I’m predicting +8
well we know u can bet konner with a putter 😂😂😂
I kinda think you're playing out of your mind lately. This is fun.
Dang, Trevor knows how to throw a Judge
Putter and a driver only? That might give you a chance on the longer holes. Get you down to a 70?
I would really like to see this again with a putter, mid range and fairway driver.
That's a starter set, and Trevor does rounds with many different brands of starter sets at the Foundation Disc Golf channel.
You shot 5 strokes better than I thought you would.. Nice job blonde dude.
Trevvy pls send me that "Pardon my Take" Nike jacket plssssssssss
Probly better than 90% of Hunters break 68 rounds 😂
This was fun, but honestly I'd like to see you practice putting with putters, so you' get better at the game.
Do another round with your whole bag and try to beat it! Then you can justify having a full bag
Beanie Collection Video
Can you putt with a judge yet???
Dude you are MONEY with that disc. Needs to go in the bag and never come out
