So we have a loft where our current hvac just couldn’t seem to keep cool during the summer. We have been using a window unit since we bought this house over 6 years ago (all the houses in this neighborhood were built in the 80’s and majority of the houses built like ours use a window unit). I hate window units because they are just so noisy and the one we had really only cools one side of the loft. I had contemplated upgrading our current HVAC, but with all the rising prices these days, it would take years before saving up enough to do that. With the advice of my father-in-law (used to run an HVAC business), he recommended we get an inverter instead. We thought we bought everything we needed, but there were just a few other parts we didn’t anticipate needing (which is what caused most of our delay). My friend and father-in-law did all the work to get it installed and running and now we have nice cool air circulating nicely throughout the entire loft. It is very quiet and even the outside unit is much quieter than our main HVAC unit. Saved ourselves thousands getting this.
Don't be paranoid about not vacuuming. This method works fine. If new clean pipe and dry weather then it will be fine. Drier receiver in ac removes any moisture. Mine worked for 10 years with this method.

Do you mean 180 degrees? Has he closed the hole from behind using white cement or something? The hole has to be closed. Sometimes the insects can also get inside the room through the hole.
can we install an ac in a room without any ventilation? there's no access to outdoor in that room only option is to drill an hole in my roof. if thats possible

An incomplete commissioning work...by LG SERVICE PEOPLE....indoor fixing template tobe fixed not to spirit level...10 mm slope should be there through drain...No indoor vacuum...This is the great mistake...Just opening of gas from outdoor to indoor, the. Moisture accumlated in indoor will cause reduce the life of compressor in future. Outdoor and indoor must be fix same to the indoor level or below the indoor unit to avoid compressor lub oil jam in indoor during unit idle that causes the compressor will run for 3 to 5 minutes with out lub oil...Outdoor unit must be in spirit level. These are the tips for increasing of compressor 's life. Whether you accept or not...process tobe followed during errection.
LG service technicians are the worst out there. They do not follow any manufacturer instructions like vacuuming, slope, proper drilling of hole for lineset etc. but know to charge more than the Rs. 700 set by the manufacturer. Seems like there is no quality control in LG and they just hire any donkey from the street as an AC technician.

Mene LG ka AC isliye liya kyunki ye eek badi international company hai. To ek vishwas hota hai ki ye company ka product, service, installation poora world class hona chahiye. Aisa aada beeda bakwas kaam nahi. Product zyada sale ho raha hai to uska matlab ye nahi ki service ki quality ko giradi jai quantity bada ne ke liye. I expect the best service from such a big brand after paying so much.
