Ffs I thought I was done questioning my sexuality
I feel lead to share some artist advise o received from my brother when striving to better produce my art. His advise was, "An artist must never be afraid to show their vulnerability". When we write about the things that secretly hurt us or make us afraid or shamed, we tap into other people's weak spots. Translation, "if we as artist can put into words where we really hurt, others secretly battling our same inner demons will find peace and hope knowing someone else out there is going through something similar. And that same honestly and vulnerabilities will definitely add too your natural sex appeal. I know you didn't ask for this advise I just hope it blessed you as much as it did myself.
Quick song writing tips I learned.
1.First find a groovy sounding title for a song. That title will show your your theme. Aka. what the story will be about.
2. Then come up with a grabber line. I do this by pretending I AM writing my song in front of a live audience. First I want to grab the attention of the first row. Yes pretend you are hearing your first line of song over the radio. Would you very first line get you curious enough to stop changing radio stations to hear more?
3. Now write to set up your first song chorus.
4.first chorus,. (the chorus simply celebrates the title of the song.). It drives home your main idea. And celebrates all you deeply believe in and are sure of. It's a joyous rest break from overthinking.
5. Verse after chorus, is where you as a writer can go deeper. Get more vulnerable. Tell us why, or what happened to get you something n this song theme in the first place. Once you explain this, celebrate by repeating your first chorus.
6.Bridge of song. This is where the tempo of song temporarily switches up. And this is where mentally you are trying your very best to sell you almost completed song to the very last row of your imaginary audience. This last row are the critics. They are against parts of your song. This is where you really get you last chance to convince them why they and yourself should not only love your point of view, but forever celebrate it. As in "I know there are some cracks that seem hard to swallow in my song, but here's why it's still worth saying. Once you feel you have finally sold your new song to everyone in your imaginary audience, you celebrate your chorus one last time.

So i really dug this video, enough to honestly consider buying an acoustic bass to try something like this out. In the future i suggest you leave your commentary to the end of the video! Folks come to uear songs. Theyll stay to hear your story if they like a song but many qill click "Next" if it doesnt open with a jam.

Oh you kids, hahaha. I grew up when every guy that I was interested in had long hair. I’m glad it never really went out of fashion, my sons have long hair, my oldest kept trying to outgrow my hair, which is to my hips, he finally gave up and just has a messy bun. Song is okay, you just need more confidence, it will come. Your hair is awesome 😎

I’m a fan of his work but I wouldn’t say he’s had a huge influence on my songwriting. But maybe it’s a subconscious thing because now that you mention it there’s definitely something ‘Say Yes’ about this song

I wasn’t sure at first, but since it’s become my most viewed video I think I will. You can expect to see it pop up on whatever the next project I put out ends up being whether it’s an EP or an album. I’m about to start recording, so hoping to have something out by the end of the year.
