Thank you for the insight. I have contemplated using Omari but never pulled the trigger. The cost does seem a little high looking at the results. How many of those supposedly organic SA plays are returning to listen again? Not very many by the looks of it.
Time will tell, but not a ton. There were about 10 personal playlist adds and a few other saves, plus the little bump in radio play - so there should be some ongoing benefit. But playlisting rarely generates a ton of new true fans. My recommendation is always to combine playlisting with something steadier like ads, if you have the budget. You get the best of both worlds that way.

Hey bro thanks for breaking these spotify playlist promotions down. I'm a Reggaeton artist. I love doing my research to see where I'll be spending my money to promote my music and you channel is always a go to🔥 keep it up my boy 🙌🏽
I 100% agree with everything you said. After starting my $600 campaign just today and analyzing the 220 playlists that my artist's song was added to, it was obvious what was going on. Like you said, Omari delivered exactly what he said he would deliver. They are organic streams: real people, not bots. But here's what else I noticed that you didn't mention in your video. Every single playlist had over 24 hours of songs on it. My song was added between slots 8 and 12 of every playlist and you can see that new songs are always added to the top, so my song will slip further and further down the playlist as time goes on until it finally drops off. That's why you see that graph dropping off almost linearly and eventually back down to zero. So while Omari delivered what he said, these are not what I call "engaged" listeners. They are not likely to pick up on your song and save it. They're not likely to follow you on Spotify and definitely not on your social media. Of course, none of these things were promised, either. My point being, even though Omari delivered what he said, there isn't actually ANY value in it. Who cares if your song gets X streams (bots or not) if no real value ever comes from it? As you mentioned, the campaign didn't even give any boost to the algorithmic playlists. I think I'll make my own video similar to yours (or a blog post) and explain all this. People need to know what they're getting into. To date, I still have not found a single music promotion company that doesn't have some sort of gotcha. It's so disheartening.
spotify will literally push rap and pop music because even if you are a independent pop artist because its mainstream music i had used the the 77$ bundle for spotify for one of my songs im actually a pop singer my song got placed to over 200 playlist but the playlist placement said it would typically get on to 1-7 playlist so it really depends on what kind of song or genre it is yk but they will push rap more its soo influenced to millions of people rock music or country for example is sum thats not really a trend i csn see why your song prolly didnt get put on the algorithm
I like Artist Tools better, personally. But they're slightly different - Artist Tools is more geared toward playlist curator outreach, while Spot on Track is just data analysis (and I think Chartmetric does data analysis better).
@Two Story Media thanks so much for the answer. One more question, please. On my Spotify for Artists page, the stats says that I've been added to a certain amount of playlists. How can I find out what playlists are those? Thank you!
@@TrumpBeats For sure. If you go to the desktop version, click Music > Playlists and you'll see a list of the "top" playlists for the song. That'll show you the ones that are getting regular streams. If you want to see all the playlists a song is on, you need a tool like Chartmetric or SpotonTrack.
Do you mean Indie Music Academy? Planning to do a video review of a 2023 campaign here soon, but I reviewed them last year on my site: twostorymelody.com/indie-music-academy-review/ But if Major Music Academy is a different service, then no, I haven't heard of them.
Don't use unless you make damn near christian music. No explicit content allowed (That doesn't mean just curse words!) I'm a HipHop artist and got denied for something as simple as saying the line "Shoot your shot" meaning, trying to talk to a girl! Nothing to do with a gun. SMH I can't even get a refund, I just have credit that I've had since 2021!! I have to make a squeaky clean song. Remember, I'm a HipHop artist! lol
@@twostorymediamusic The streams from him stop. Once the campaign is over seems like. Also seems like he does alot of fake reviews on his TrustPilot page.
I got added to a bot playlist through Omari mc. Was getting thousands of streams for no reason. So I emailed them and they denied it. Afterwards, I found some of the bands in the bot playlist with me and messaged them and it turns out they paid for the same Omari playlist as me. As soon as the bot playlist got taken down by Spotify, me streams dropped right away. Definitely wouldn’t trust them!
I tried using outside companies for boosting my streams but all it did was got my music kicked off Spotify. It was a bitch to get my songs up and running again. I have no experience with this company however; you have to ask yourself is it worth the risk?
@@kenpachi1114 I stopped using Omari because of this as well and they moved to a buy their coins to purchase a campaign. Nobody wants that extra step. Now in 2024, any uploaded song to your distribution, they make you sign a disclaimer to NOT use any promos services for streams.
@@twostorymediamusic did a soundcloud ‘organic’ promo in 2019 with omari when I started out and had no idea what I was doing. streams went up from 0 to 10k within 5-10min. bots were very busy ‘listening’ 😁. since then i prefer 1 real fan instead of millios fake ones.
You videos have been popping up in my feed lately and now I'm binging your content, thank you for sharing your experiences with us!
Thanks for watching!

De lo mío klk, contáctame yo puedo hacerte una muy buena campaña, real streams de países latinoamericanos
A la Network con la que trabajo le gusta el Dembow y Reggaeton, tenemos muchas Playlists para artistas latinos

I’ve not used Omari yet, but I’ve noticed my rock band getting on a few rock lists aimed at Spanish and Portuguese listeners that do very well

So Spotify won’t cancel my acct for using this?
Nah, Omari drives real streams. Not the most engaged playlists, but not bots.
Well at least you got over 1000 streams, but you earned 13-14 dollars?
Thank you for this research, immensely useful!
just seen it.. SPotify is not promoting the best music..! younger Hip rap stuff maybe.! 5/2024
His promotions are too High. Also know one really knows him . anyone can say they're a producer ect .
Which do you prefer Tonden or Hyppedit for fb/ig ads
His streams are definitely botted.
What makes you think so? I didn't see anything in this campaign that gave red flags.
