Thanks for sharing this information, it was really helpful! I also went and checked out the song by Old Friends, New Friends (love the sound!) and then also submitted to Ear to the Ground Music's list. Fingers crossed!
So many curators just take your premium coins listen to a minute of the song and type a generic review that could be given to any song without even listening and rob you its horrible i already lost over 40 euros for these people
I just started pitching a week ago and spent 45 or so bucks. I've had 10 approvals and 8 rejections. I'd say make sure your song is great quality, and fits the playlist. Either way the results depend on more than just the curators. It can work if you make it.
@@jordanparadisemusic the only ones that approve are the non important ones that are full of bots or have no significance all the playlists r fake and the curators dont even listen to us they take our credits and randomly pick a few a day so that their percentage stays up to Reel more ppl in
@@gonemachado don’t get it mistaken I’m not dissing you. I’m saying, quality and the fitting of the song on the playlist is important. Take it as a diss if you want, that’s on you. I’m just saying it works if you make it work. I got 10 placements within 5 days because I took close care of who I was pitching to and the vibe of the playlist. But the insult is much appreciated stay blessed and good luck
Well. As you can see, most playlists have already kicked out that song so that is all you got from SH. I just calculated my campaign for my 2nd last album and I on average pay 0.002$ per stream. So that is 15 times better than your campaign.
Thanks for the insights! At 4:10 you mention you've "been running ads". Can you elaborate more on that? On what platform, in what way? Would love to know :)
Good question. Kind of depends on your goals... in terms of cost-per-stream, SubmitHub probably beats Meta ads, especially in the short-term. But over the longer-term, things probably turn toward Meta ads - and definitely in terms of engagement stats (saves, streams per listener, etc.) Meta ads would win.
Ha, yeah, it's what you thought - three streams to earn a penny. When I say $0.03 per stream, I'm talking about cost - how much I paid to SubmitHub to get those streams. So even though the campaign was pretty solid, it had a negative ROI in terms of streaming revenue (which tbh is kind of inevitable). Sorry that was kind of confusing ha.
I like this channel bro my suggestion is find best ways and share how to invest without getting negative roi because that means for those who are struggling asking them to pay into a system to only to be in more debt when music is supposed the opposite
This was really cool to see the "other side" of the process. Glad you had a successful campaign!
Yeah, it's funny how curators / artists have such different perceptions of the process ha. Thanks!

That was an amazing song, thank you for sending that!! Amazing approval rate btw🤘🏽
Thanks for listening, and for the support!

Well congrats haha. Was your $0.002/stream campaign on SubmitHub, through an SEO playlisting agency, via Facebook ads, or what?

Yeah! $10 / day on Meta ads, starting about a month after the song was out. Placements are mostly Instagram reels and stories.
@@twostorymediamusic nice! Got to try that. Just in the form of a short video I guess? Square sized?
2:33 "appreciated the guitar strumming" 💀
it's some good guitar strumming, lemme tell you
Nice review! 😉
I've always thought that spiders in a creative setting is a sign of good luck :)
never heard that, but i'll take it ha.
In terms of Bang for Buck.....would you rate Submit Hub over Paid Facebook Ads ?

I mean that song to this day has only 19,000 streams though....
Ha, it was only $44! I feel like that's a pretty good return - it's actually ROI positive.
@@twostorymediamusicUsually on a campaign you want more than 1x ROI but okay.
Is Spotify 0.03 per stream I thought it was 0.003 or 3 streams earns one penny.
If it is 3 pennies per stream I am about to be PAID...woot woot

Can you do a video on TikTok ads?
Good video
"only has 4000 streams" lol
So you are afraid of being the next Spider Man??? LOL
Well I hadn't thought of it like that... but now that you mention it, still yes haha.
