Hello LEGENDS! A couple of cracking MAUER Safe Locks here - any info you have about them, share with the crew! Hope you're well. Please LIKE + COMMENT and all the rest if you want. New shorts going up now too! Lovely. EDIT: I found this video: ua-cam.com/video/wkozIn24bkA/v-deo.html
Nice one Mr Principals. There might be a picking video one day, but the dedicated tools don't come cheap, but I have a friend who says he can make me one, he's said that before, and before that, and , well, you get the idea.
Oh nice - I just found a video of someone picking one, only took him about 25 minutes - but he got it done! With some quite severe cramp too! Here: ua-cam.com/video/MbdFG2zOdsA/v-deo.htmlsi=vkvgzmriCGFNPQcT
Cheers, Paul I sat there for a good twenty minutes just opening and closing it. My GF had to break me out of my near hypnotic state. Thanks for watching.
Hello Quakes! Yes, I sat there like someone in a care home just locking and unlocking it for about an hour, hypnotized by the action. The picking video...er...Let's just leave that here for the moment. A long, long, moment. Best wishes.
Wow! Thats great! Looks like some amazing alien tech that went into designing all those teethy bits! I dont know anything about safe locks myself but they've always interested me with their intricate designs! Thank you for sharing those!
And me neither, I know nothing about them apart from what I've learned from these, that I just open and close repeatedly like I'm about to get psyched-off.
@LockPickingLegend Thank you very much! I really appreciate that! I've had to take some time off but I'm getting back into it now and was a bit nervous after not having stuck a pick in a lock for 16 days lol
@LockPickingLegend They've always amazed me! I'd be happy just opening and closing them with the key, looking at the intricate working on the inside like you showed!
Cheers, Gary. And yes, they certainly do. A bit of the old vorsprung durch technik - which Google Translate tells me means advantage through technology, which I never knew. Best wishes.
If only all the Legends said Amen simultaneously - maybe we'll try and sort it out for a live stream. But yes, the design and manufacture are another level. It's a cliche, but for a reason, people just seemed to care a bit more about their products, going back just thirty years. The internet has got a lot to answer for. Best wishes.
@@weatherman68 Yes, I could do with a shower. We're going to get trapped in a reply feedback loop if we're not careful. But where did being careful ever get anyone? Apart from success, love, health and happiness?
AMAZING! Thank you so much. I've got a bit more to work on now and can look them up. Thanks for that. Well happy. I've added a link in the pinned comment of a bloke picking them with some old RB Locktools safe picks. It's in Indian (I think it's Indian) but he get's the job done.
Amazing how they still work and there are no friction marks on the other levels! They must have been rubbing each other () for years and stil no marks! Thanks Legend, very interesting ⭐️
I'll just get my half diamond and a TOK wrench ready and see you next year! I am not, no. I'd need to buy expensive tools, which do exist. But these days, anything vaguely 'expensive', is too expensive. Here's an Indian fella picking one of them and a couple of similar models. Not the main one I showed though. It appear RBLocktools made the tools: ua-cam.com/video/wkozIn24bkA/v-deo.html
Hello mate - it really was a long one - I had trouble focusing. Good to see there's always someone in the chat keeping things classy. And much appreciated for it too. Be good.
Hey where do ya get these? This is what I need for my daughters hope chest! or would you suggest another type? She will end up storing her hunting rifles in. Anyhelp appreciated mate!
I have a friend who works for a major roadside recover company, and he did a job and used a LISHI, the customer was very impressed and they got talking about locks, and then he went into his van and gave them to him, and he passed them on to me. Weird how things turn out. What's a 'Hope Chest'? That's a new one on me. I don't have daughters though. I think.
I bet you couldn't believe your luck when this video came out. I can see you now, "No way! Mauer safe locks!" and immediately stopped what you were doing and watched it thirty times. I'm right aren't I?

Brilliant lock and demonstration. Thumbs up from a connoisseur of security.

Legend!!! Great video! Safe locks are very fascinating and beautiful- my favorite is the kromer protector!

@@LockPickingLegend oh yes! A few others have picked it already, but I believe this was the first time ever on video! Great stuff!
I love 2nd one, there's a real elegance to the complexity of that mechanism, thanks for that

That second lock is a work or art and both sooooo smooth. Thanks for the video. Just waiting for the picking video now.🤣🤣

Hey - I just realised you're the lad I watched on Lady Lock's stream. Nice one.

As always legend .love your work. Ps those germans do know how to manufacture quality stuff.

Absolute beautiful locks. Designed for security. And all the legends said Amen!

Beautifully crafted. This is my comment. A Legendary thank you.
Hello mate. Yes, they really are quite special. Not bad for a roadside recovery donation. This is my reply. Hope you're well.
@LockPickingLegend Brilliant engineering mate. This is my reply to your reply. May the Gods shower you with what you need mate. Cheers Chris 🥂

@@weatherman68 This is just a thumbs up, not a reply. Oh.
Looks like the first one is the President A safe lock with 8 levers and the 2nd is the Variator B with 11-14 levers 😅 looks menacing to pick.

Amazing emoji use!! Hope you’re well, Cranks.
Are you going to pick them 😁

Never mind the mechanics. What a length Mrs 🤣

Be very careful what tool you use for poking around those types of holes! churrs Legend!
Yes, but when it's so smooth, you can't help playing with it. Best wishes, my friend.
I've got a Mauer lock I think it's a level 7 or 8 the fella I got he from he said he has a level 12 one the amount of plates in it was crazy
The 71111 hasn't been in a safe for 20-30 years. The label says it was made in 04/2017. So 7 years max.
My gosh! 25 levers? How in the world would you pick that baby? Nice video.
Patience, Lots of patience. But, if you search UA-cam for 'Mauer picked' there's an Indian lad picking a couple very similar to these.
Proboscii 😂😂😂😂😂 legend
Nice one for noticing that. Cheers!
Definitely not made by Masterlock
Haha, that would be a very good strapline for a new lock company. I hope you're well, Ron.

@@LockPickingLegend Well it's obvious by the amount of thought and effort that i put into my original comment. Yes, you got me.
