@@PananaTV I’ve just started. A few of my South African friends have given me a few recipes to try and this video for guidance is gold! Love the content and much love from Brisbane AUS🙏🏽
@@PananaTV You are welcome. I have quite a few potjie videos but I guess the one you are asking about must be Beef Shin. This is for me what makes the potjie so special... there are so many different ways to make make a potjie. It tasted absolutely amazing!
@@PananaTV Thanks for your reply. The reason I am asking is because I watch hundreds of "Potjiekos" videos and the key instruction I wait for is when adding the veggies is - DO NOT STIR ... Most folks stir all the way till the meal is done. That means at best it is a stew outside in a cast-iron vessel and most definitely not a potjie. What be the purpose of rules and structure if we disobey or discard them? Blessings 🧡
This looks great. Sommer going to gooi the potjie over the coals on Sunday to test your recipe. I will update you on the outcome! Thanks!!
Still waiting on this review 😪

The first person I see ever to brown the meat first otherwise you have to take the onions out to brown the meat. Well done.
